Review of UnionSine 750GB 2.5″ External HDD
I actually bought two different 750 GB external Hard Drives (HDD). The UnionSine 750GB HDD is mounted in what resembles a metal heatsink. The entire case is all plastic and solid. I decided on HDD for 2 reasons. 1. I needed more than 500GB but 1 TB was too much. 2. I wanted drives for long term storage.HDD is different from an SSD (Solid State Drive) in that the HDD is a mechanical drive with spinning platter and a movable head. HDDs are not as rugged as SSD and they require more power (current). The UnionSine 750GB drive comes with a USB cable with a USB-A on the computer end and a USB Micro B on the drive end. This cable provides more power for the HDD This cable not only provides more power, it also increase the data transfer to drive if the computer has v 3.0 USB.An HDD will maintain the data for a longer period than SSD as long as it is not dropped, bumped, or josteled. An SSD drive basically charges and discharges internal solid state cells. The charge will last about a year or so if the SSD is left unpowered. For cloning and archiving, an HHD is better unplugged and stored away. An SSD should be powered every so often.The UnionSine 750GB came in it’s own box with a 3 yr warranty. The HDD is an Hitachi Global Storage Tech drive. If you buy this exteranl HDD you may or may not get an Hitachi HDD. I am guessing they buy a batch of 2.5″ drives at the best price so it could be any brand. I ran a HDD test and it came back with perfect status. Problem and/or weak sectors not found. No spin up nor data transfer errors. Internal temp was 20 degrees C.The S.M.A.R.T. came back passing all tests.Either drive will do a good job.

Compact, Fast, and Reliable Storage Solution!
I’ve been using this 1TB external hard drive for a few months now, and it’s been excellent. I am very happy with this purchase.It’s super slim and lightweight, making it easy to carry around with my laptop in a laptop backpack.The USB 3.0 connection offers fast data transfer speeds, and it worked instantly with my PC. I am going to buy another one for my son’s PS5. Stay tuned for that review.I’ve had no issues with compatibility or performance and 1 TB seems to offer more storage than I currently need.Definitely a great value for anyone needing extra storage on the go!

Make sure you’re cool with it’s cables
Device is good, well priced, and does what it says it does. Make sure you read about the cabling for the if you decide to buy it. I just assumed it was USB-C. It uses a weird cable I’m unfamiliar with that ends in a USB-A male (big rectangular).My laptop doesn’t have any USB-A jacks and hasn’t had any for years, so I had to drop a couple bucks on an adapter (USB-A to USB-C). And I’m a little nervous that if I lose their little custom cable I won’t be able to use the device anymore without buying some special cable.Oh well. It works and the price is right.

Storage for Your PS5
I bought this for my PS5. I had to look up where to find the storage in the settings, once turned on but that has nothing to do with the quality of the product. The drive was immediately connected to the game system and I was able to move games I no longer played onto it without a problem.I love that it is lightweight and black so it doesn’t look like an eyesore on the TV stand. I hardly ever notice it.I’m glad I bought the drive with the most storage from the start!

Uso este disco duro (color rosa) desde diciembre de 2024 para copias de seguridad y estoy muy contento con él. No es el más rápido, pero para guardar fotos, vídeos o documentos va perfecto. Lo conectas, copias y listo. Incluye una luz LED que indica cuando está encendido y en funcionamiento, algo útil para saber su estado. Tiene la velocidad típica: 100–120 MB/s, la normal en discos HDD.🎥En el vídeo se puede ver cómo es físicamente el disco duro y los resultados de las pruebas de velocidad (lectura y escritura) que le he realizado y que cumplen con las especificaciones del fabricante. ✅📌Lo que me ha gustado:🔹Precio económico (me costó 28,79 €, ahora 31,99 €)🔹Funcionamiento sencillo y tamaño no muy grande.🔹Incluye cable USB 3.0 (importante usar puerto USB 3.0 para mejor rendimiento).
