I never write reviews. Well, very rarely. I have been searching for a small camera to place outside my apartment door that pointed at my door and the surrounding hallway. I have ordered multiple cameras, only to have troubles connecting them to the Wi-Fi, or them working for a few minutes and stopping,… It was one issue after another with each little mini spy cam I seemed to purchase. I couldn’t trust reviews anymore. I wanted wireless. Obviously if I live in an apartment building it’s not going to be easy if it it’s not wireless. But that seemed to be the only things that were left out there, that I hadn’t tried. I ordered this camera and I thought it was wireless. I was wrong. But hold on. There’s more to this story… First of all, connecting it to my Wi-Fi and working with the app was so super simple, I was worried something was wrong. Could it really be this easy?? After I disconnected it from the cord that charged it …. it stopped working. That’s when I realized I had made a mistake and it needed to stay plugged in. Duh. The thing is is that it was so simple to get it up and running, seriously less than 5 minutes! And the picture was good! And it seemed to have a lot of flexibility so I could angle it just the way I wanted to. I looked at it and said you know what? I’m going to make this thing work for me. I am not sending a camera that is this easy to set up, back. I have a mini SCD card. I don’t want to pay for cloud storage. I don’t want to pay for anything extra The cord that comes with this little camera is basically flat so I had no trouble putting it through the top of my door without the door pinching the cord! It was pretty long…. But I did not have an outlet near the door so up up on a step ladder this old woman went, and I taped it along the ceiling line and then I chose a white extension cord so it would blend in with the wall in my living room. I made it look good. I am thrilled with this camera! I can now see who’s knocking at my door… I can speak to them clearly through my two-way audio. I can see if somebody has left a package. I am disabled so getting up and down is not always easy for me… And I live alone so sometimes I’m not dressed for guests if you know what I mean lol. This whole review, It does nothing else, I want to make sure that it shows you the ease with which this camera was set up. So that, along with the fact that the picture quality was excellent, so *completely* outweighed the inconvenience of having to figure out how to connect it to the nearest outlet in my home.If you are a frustrated consumer like I was tried multiple cameras only to have to keep returning them and not getting what you want, please consider this one. One. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

We bought a camera to monitor our vehicles while we were on a short vacation. The camera was easy to set up, we have it mounted outside and we live in Michigan. So far it’s held up and if anything weather related damage occurs I’ll be sure to add an update to this review on how it occurred. The image is great during day and night, the audio is good as well. It picks up car headlights from quarter mile out and we can hear the cars whooshing. If anyone is up close to the camera their details are crisp and sounds is very clear. We added a SD card and it just records over itself on a loop. You can download clips that you want and the rest just gets written over, length of time depends on the amount of GBs on your SD card. It can run without any backup to the cloud or SD storage added just for live monitoring purposes. We added another for inside the house just because the clarity and sound was great, the motion detector is sensitive, and we get notifications on our phones if movements or a person is detected. You can go into privacy mode when you want to stop viewing. Great quality and great price!

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical when purchasing it.. BUT it works wonderfully! I needed an indoor camera for my cats, and I’ve been looking for one and found this one. It captures the WHOLE room! It senses my cats as soon as they walk into the room! When reviewing the cameras, you can simply speed up the video if you don’t want to wait through each second. Slight delay on the mic but not much. No complaints from me tbh. Night vision works wonderfully too!Now, the most important part… the storage capacity.. is great! I’m using a 64GB microchip. So it’ll record all captured footage into the chip (technically you can keep it running all day if you want and it’ll only save when movement or person is detected). WHEN, the chip is full, it overwrites the older videos. No need for a new chip (unless you want another one). I really like this feature! There is a subscription in case you want to save them to the cloud but it’s not required for use of the camera. The chip’s storage works fine. It must stay connected to the outlet at all times when in use. Overall, 10/10.Will be recommending it to other pet parents!

I got these cameras to see who keeps trying to break into my house. I love that it comes with 4 cameras and the 2 way hearing and speaking feature is pretty cool. it’s very responsive to all movements. The alarm feature is too sensitive as it sounds an alarm with any movement. The set up isn’t direct. I had to read the reviews to figure out how to connect the cameras. You will need to get an SD card for each camera or buy the cloud subscription (per device) or you could always watch it 24/7. And they aren’t wireless. Overall I am happy with this purchase. it’s just unfortunate that I need it.

Primera vez que compró cámaras de seguridad. Este modelo (C 100) y esta marca (TAPO) me pareció muy bueno, no conozco otras, por lo bien que se ve la imagen y sus funciones:un zoom muy bueno; audio bidireccional puedo hablar con alguien cerca de la cámara en mi casa estando yo fuera y lejos; me envía notificaciones de movimiento que puedo configurar a mi gusto o desactivar; la app TAPO es gratis y guarda el red de internet y la clave de modo que no hay que buscarla ni escribir la clave cuando añadimos una nueva cámara; la configuración de las cámaras es muy sencilla; la app permite la opción de guardar en la nube lo que la cámara graba o se puede grabar en micro SD (hasta 128 gb) en la cámara; la configuración de una nueva cámara es muy rápida (6 minutos me llevó y 2 minutos es de la actualización del firmware y se hace sola) gracias a que la app guarda los datos de la red; trae tornillos y un papel marcado donde se deben hacer los hoyos para colocarla; una vez colocada en la pared se puede dirigir hacia donde uno quiere.Es una cámara fija, no sigue el movimiento, pero eso era lo que yo quería. Algo sencillo y económico que me permitiera ver en tiempo real lo que pasa en el interior de mi casa.Sugerencias/Tips:1.- Primero configuren cada cámara y luego las colocan. El celular debe estar cerca de la cámara durante la configuración. Pueden usar el mismo cable a toma corriente para todas las cámaras durante la configuración de cada una.2.- Desconecten la(s) cámara(s) que ya configuraron cuando configuren una nueva.En resumen me parece que el beneficio que se obtiene supera el precio que se paga!Ahora falta conocer su funcionamiento a largo plazo…
