Customers say
Customers find the bacon dish cooks perfectly and works well in the microwave, taking about 50 seconds per slice. The product is easy to clean, with customers noting it can be put in the dishwasher, and they appreciate how it saves them from getting splattered with grease. While some customers find it durable and worth the money, others describe it as flimsy and not worth the purchase.

It works!
It works! Really well! . . . . Preheat a frying pan on low . . . It takes nne minute to take the bacon rack out of the box and set it up. Two minutes to find the bacon. One minute to hang them on the rack(s). . . Put eggs in pan with butter or whatever on the stove . . . Nuke the bacon on the rack for 4 ish minutes (+or -) . . . . (flip the eggs at about 2 minutes) . . . . take out of micro-wave and lift them off the hanging racks with a fork (they’re hot!), put’em on a paper towel. The eggs in the frying pan on the stove are done . . perfect timing! Put both on a plate. Eat. Buy it!

No-mess, No-fuss
Love bacon, but dislike the greasy mess to clean up when using old school frying methods. This product makes the clean up much easier to deal with and once you dial in the amount of time for the thickness of bacon and power of your microwave, it is a quick and easy ‘no-mess, no-fuss’ operation. Most importantly for me, the bacon comes out perfect.

Careful when removing the tab that holds the racks in place
Cooks the bacon evenly. However, there’s a tab that holds the racks in place to keep them intact when not in use. The tab broke off in the hole where the middle rack would go, so I’m limited to 2 racks instead of 3.

Amazing Bacon Maker!!! Made in the USA
I was very skeptical when I received it. I read the box and saw the cute message from Abby who created this when she was only 8 years old. Wow Abby!!! Great job!!! My bacon turned out perfect… I thought I would need to cut it for it to fit but we all know bacon shrinks as it did so it really was great. I will be purchasing several more for family and friends at Christmas. #Made in the USA

Healthier way to eat bacon!
Healthier way to eat bacon! We’ve used other varieties of microwave bacon cookers and this is definitely the best option. It’s small enough to rotate on it’s own in the microwave – other microwave cookers often have to be hand-rotated every minute or so, which adds a lot of hassle. It evenly cooks 6 pieces of bacon and removes LOTS of grease – we are astounded every time we clean out the bottom tray after using. It was less even when cooking 12 pieces at a time, but it’s easy enough to just do 2 rounds of 6 pieces for more even cooking if you need that much bacon.

Its ok
Our family loves bacon. And if you’re reading this review then most likely yours does too. I was tired of pulling out a frying pan and making a mess on my cooktop. I tried ‘baking’ or ‘broiling’ my bacon and that just made a mess inside the oven (more effort to clean than the cooktop!) I remembered my mom cooking bacon in her microwave on a plate with lots of paper towels, and sure that works.. but the amount of waste is crazy! So I read the reviewed and gave this a try. Its ok.First, I tried regular bacon. I tried thick cut bacon and my results were pretty much the same. You drape the bacon slices over these bars and cover with a paper towel. Then you guess how long to cook it for. (I know, microwaves vary) The grease still kind of gets everywhere inside the micro. The bacon ends up folded in half (which is fine if you dont mind half sized pieces). I found that most times the two ends of each slice would somehow end up touching when it cooked and they meld together. I also found that in addition to the regular grease that I expected, there was little bacon flakes that would end up in the base of the cooking tray. I thought maybe the bacon I was cooking was cheap, and that was some sort of smoke flavor? but nope. I tried expensive bacon and still ended up with these little bacon flakes in the base.Havent tried any of the other microwave types so hard to say if they all function like this. for now I would say this is ‘ok’.

Love this product!
Durable, we have had ours for years. Purchased this as a gift & they love it. Fits 4 to 5 slices of bacon (depending on width). Great value!

My first thought when I opened the package was, “Is this a joke?”
I haven’t used it yet, but there are already issues with what the product seems to be vs. what it is.First, there is no way you can drape even a single slice of bacon over the tiny little T-shaped racks. You would have to cut your bacon in half to assure that each strip might not hang down into the bacon grease. A full-sized strip may well hang over the catch basin and onto the microwave turntable. That’s how small the product is. The basin that the three “T” shaped parts “install” into is barely larger than the size of my palm.Even after I cut the bacon strips in half lengthwise, I doubt I’ll be able to fit 4 per T. Three, is more likely. Effectively, I’m going to be able to cook 4.5 to 6 strips of bacon at a time, at best. I was wondering why people kept talking about emptying the basin of bacon grease so often, but now I see. It’s super shallow and not very large. I’ll update my review after I’ve used the product, but it’s not looking good so far.Update:I’ve used it and the results are somewhere between a 1 and 2. I use a good quality bacon that is wide and thick and I can cook about 4 strips at a time using this product. Using a plate, I can cook 6 to 7 at a time, in less time. Using a baking tin, I can make 11 or 12 at a time, so 4 is slowing me down.Once you cut the bacon strips in half so that you can hang them on the little racks without dangling in the grease, they shrink during cooking to very small, folded-over pieces that look like tiny, stiff bath towels hanging on a rack. They’re not aesthetically pleasing for serving to guests, and they’re more difficult to deal with if you plan to dice them up to go in some dish. Finally, even if you cover this rack with a paper towel, the grease splatter from the bottom tray and from the sides is substantial. My microwave was a disaster. It took 10 minutes to clean the bacon grease from all the surfaces of the microwave.I wanted to like this thing, but I just can’t. It’s an improvement over pan-fried, but there are other ways to cook bacon that are less costly, less time consuming, and cause less cleaning than this.

Pretty good. It does work but if you are looking for crispier bacon, I find that the ends (touching) tend to stick together. Wider racks would help that but does it really need it?
