Support team help (Kiko) was outstanding
I purchased this TV for our kitchen for a countertop space saver! After installing the mounting base to the bottom of our cabinet–I attached the TV to the bottom mount! I mistakenly overtightened the TV to the mount and the threaded sleeve on the mount broke right off! After explaining the situation to the support team-they resolved the situation by sending me a new cabinet mount! They were gracious to send me the part at no charge and followed up almost daily to see if I got the part and followed through with tracking# and any questions I had! Thank you to Kiko of the support team and Sylvox for the part and great support! We enjoy our TV–with great quality picture and all the features it has to offer! If you’re looking for a TV in a small place–this is the right one to purchase! Keep up the good work–and again thank you for your support and quality product!

Kitchen Necessities
After having it up a few days it is amazing to wonder how we lived without it. Kids breakfast watching shows or myself popping in for Lunch and watching The Office. The picture is great the sound is surprising detailed and adequate enough. It swivels some or enough for us. Was super easy to install. My counters are recessed on the bottom so I added wood to make it even with the bottom. Easy Peasy.

Stop! Don’t Buy. Sylvox TV Unreliable.
6/14/24 Stop! Don’t buy this! This is review is on $500 + Sylvox replacement TV delivered Sept. 2023. Difficulties continue.Starting in March, 6 mo.old Sylvox TV would intermittently lose picture. Turn off, & back on & picture returns.Since May – no picture at all. We tried calling company and no response, call back or message at this time cannot take your call. Also I see it now sells for $200+ less than what we paid initially. I take this as telltale sign, Something issues are not only with my TV Sylvox purchase.Don’t be fooled by the nice pictorial profile. I was.Amazon please review this company and service.Makes me question ever buying electronics from Amazon.————————————————————————Sound on this TV is horrible. Had to hook up sound bar to work with TV. Touch Remote is difficult as one has to push buttons repeatedly for it to register.Would not recommend it.Our return window expired before we could get installed so we are out of luck. Also emailed service for replacement remote – service return email not responsive yet.Maybe this one tv is a fluke but buyer beware.9/5/23 Update:The Sylvox Company responded favorably to my complaint. I explained the “tinney” sound and they offered to send out a replacement which they did rather quickly after we talked. The sound on the replacement was much much better. More depth and more color to the sound. The first one was clearly defective. Tau a representative called to inquire if the problem was resolved and I told her it was. They will mail out a paid return label. I was quit surprised by the responsiveness of the company. I naturally changed my rating to 5 stars from original 1 star.I will add that unfortunately with Amazon one can only resort to 1 star rating to call attention to a problem. I’m very comfortable and deeply appreciative of Sylvox’s resolution of our “bad luck” with the initial TV.

Kitchen under cabinet TV
The manual is NOT well written to follow it. I am still trying to figure out how to use the control. I sent them an email and they never responded it!

Great TV For The Kitchen!
The high resolution picture quality is great – better than any other under-counter TV we’ve ever had. The screen pivots up into the electronics ‘box’ to keep it out of the way when not using – a nice feature. It also swivels enough to view while sitting at the counter or cooking. Since it’s a ‘smart’ TV, there’s no cable connection if you have WiFi. This really cleans up the space under the cabinets and allows for the use of Netflix, YouTube, etc. The customer service desk was very responsive and helpful at getting me through a couple of small issues.

Undisclosed problems that had I known about them I wouldn’t purchase the item possibly.
The installation instructions for making markings on the underside of your cabinet, or whatever you’re mounting the television are only in millimeters, which, in my opinion made them absolutely frustrating and essentially worthless.I wasted a lot of time, trying to convert millimeter distances from the instructions into inches and sixteenths of an inch which was an absolute nightmare. In my opinion it’s unconscionable to sell somebody instructions essentially in another language, because in America most people aren’t used to working with millimeters and don’t have devices such as rulers or measuring tapes marked in millimeters. In the end, because of the problem, snd not having the tools to work with millimeters and not having instructions that could be used for people who live in the United States, I ended up with my front of the TV about 1/ eighth of an inch past the front of the cabinet and about a quarter of an inch sticking out past the side of the cabinet.2. The clock on the front of the TV only tells time in a 24 hour clock face and can’t be changed to a 12 hour clock. And when you don’t have the television on the clock does is not light up so you can’t see it or see what the time anyway .Had I known that I would’ve spent the $399 on an product developed for the American market with instructions and measurements of feet and inches and sixteenths of an inch. So it’s sort of a bait and switch thing in my opinion. They sell you the item, but they don’t tell you it’s made for the American market, or using American measurements, or time. How hard would it be just to put instructions in feet and inches or sixteenths of an inch for the American market? Why didn’t they disclose that all the measurements on the instructions were in millimeters? well in my opinion it’s pretty obvious they were afraid that potential customers wouldn’t not or may not buy the darn thing in my opinion, unusable instructions, and a clock that most Americans can’t read because it’s in 24 hours.I can read a 24 hour clock because of organizations I was in. But might wife can’t, and my children can’t and my grandchildren can’t.The sound was fine for me but I probably don’t know any better.I had to get help from Amazon technical support to get my fire stick to work with it. This of brand of Television is not listed when you’re trying to set up your fire stick in the list of types of devices or providers you use.So you have to go through another procedure for the “not listed “ providers. And not listed is on the very last or bottom of a extremely long list of providers like AT&T Samsung, etc. and if you don’t go all the way to the bottom, you don’t see “my brand is not listed “ and that caused some big problems. And a large waste of time. The other huge problem is the only clock time that it shows as a 24 hour clock and it cannot be changed. However, there are settings where you can say you want a 24 hour clock or a 12 hour clock face, but that’s only on the screen and that doesn’t show up in every frame. Clock doesn’t work like the clock on the face of a cable box, which shows you the time whether you’re using the box or notIt’s far as I can tell, the time that shows up on the screen only shows up occasionally, and you just can’t look up and see the time by looking at the any part of the screen. Sometimes it’s there sometimes it’s not.The picture seems fine for us and usually seems bright and clear. The performance was OK, except for the connectivity problems, rarely occurring. The brightness was good, except on some of the Wi-Fi streaming stuff, but it might’ve been because I was looking at a weird angle.I used the original remote, and it was OK for getting around, but it was not capable of giving giving or receiving vocal instructions, like Alexa provides. Using the original remote would’ve been a nightmare on YouTube TV which we have. It would take you forever to scroll up and down trying to find channels because YouTube TV doesn’t go by numbers.I am now using a Fire stick. The remote they gave you is seems kind of flimsy and light. They also give you a little device to open the battery area on the remote like you would with a coin.I thought that the remote allowed you to talk to but that was my mistake I guess. But with the fire stick, I can give it instructions and vocal instructions which is necessity when using you Tube Television, because there are no channel numbers. So you can’t remember where things are or where they are relative to another. You have to know or read all the tiny station logos, which, from a distance require a binoculars toI was having connectivity problems, saying that errors occurred, in spite of the fact on my iPhone I had all of the bars showing a real strong Wi-Fi signal. We’re keeping the TV so far. And we’re happy with it except for the problems we discussed and it doesn’t have a clock on its face all the time. I don’t want to go through all the hassle of sending it back, waiting for a new one to be sent to me trying to install that.Had I known about the millimeter measurement, problems, and the 24 hour clock problem that can’t be changed, I might not have bought the product. I might’ve just looked for some thing created by an American producer. In my opinion, I was clearly deceived by the manufacture of the television, withholding the information about installation, instructions, not being in inches or 16th of an inch, and only being in millimeters and that when the clock is on because the television is on, you can only see the time in a 24 hour face or 24 hour numbers for time on the clock face.I haven’t had the TV long enough to be really clear on it performance. We’ve only had a few instances where it dropped a signal and didn’t reconnect by itself. But I have full bars for Wi-Fi on my phone when it happened and each occurrence.I would give it a functionality score of three, so long as you have a fire stick, or some other device that allows you to search using vocal commands.I would give the manufacturer -2 stars in my opinion for withholding important information about the inability for most Americans to install the thing because they can’t read them or understand or use the millimeter instructions in the mounting information. And because they didn’t disclose that the time wouldn’t be on all the time, and that it had only a 24 hour clock face available. It uses the googles android system, which I understand is a good thing. You can meet your android phone to this television. Unfortunately, my phones and iPhone.

This is a must have item for your kitchen. I replaced my 8 year old Adventure with this one because it is actually a smart Tv. No need for HDMI if you have wifi. Streaming made very easy. The only downside is the volume. Although up and down volume works correctly. It has a very tinny sound which is sometimes a little irritating. Pricey but to me, worth it.

I was not able to pair it or do anything with it. It was missing the remote. The buttons were not working except for the volume so I was not able to get passed the main screen. I am assuming the remote was needed. I returned it as this seemed to be the only option. When I get my refund I will try ordering another one.
