Good product for the price.
I just picked up this drill, and I’m genuinely impressed! If you’re a DIY enthusiast like me, or just someone who needs a reliable tool for around-the-house projects, you should definitely consider buying this drill. It’s a fantastic balance of quality, power, and user-friendliness, and it has quickly become a go-to in my toolkit.Right out of the box, you can tell this drill is well-made and built to last. It feels substantial in your hand, not flimsy or cheap like some other drills I’ve encountered. The casing is robust, and all the moving parts, especially the chuck, feel solid and precise. There’s no wiggling or loose components, which immediately inspires confidence when you’re tackling a project. The ergonomic design is also a huge plus – it fits comfortably in my hand, making even longer drilling or driving sessions less fatiguing. But a drill’s true worth is in its performance, and this one delivers. The power is more than good for a DIY job. I’ve used it for everything from assembling furniture and hanging shelves to drilling pilot holes in studs and driving long screws into hardwood. It handles all these tasks with ease, showing no signs of struggling or bogging down. The torque is surprisingly strong, making quick work of even stubborn screws, and the variable speed trigger gives you excellent control for delicate tasks. I’ve also found the battery life to be excellent; it lasts through a significant amount of work before needing a recharge, which is a huge convenience. What truly sets this drill apart for DIYers is its versatility without being overkill. It’s not so heavy or unwieldy that it becomes a chore to use for smaller jobs, yet it packs enough punch to tackle more demanding home improvement projects. It’s clearly designed with the homeowner and weekend warrior in mind, offering professional-grade features and performance without the professional-grade price tag.In summary, if you’re tired of drills that feel like they’re about to give up the ghost, or you’re looking to upgrade from a less capable model, definitely buy this drill. It’s a solid investment that will make your DIY projects smoother, faster, and much more enjoyable. This one’s a winner!

Get this for 20, stop comparison shopping! Everyone should have one, perfect gift!
Bought this yesterday and was immediately using it last night to zip screws in and out of the dryer for quick repair. It’s awesome, far better than expected, fits in the palm of my hand, feels weighty and powerful for everyday screw and bolt needs.I am mid 40s Dad with very nice Kobalt impact driver and Dewalt drill. For some home improvement projects I’m working on at the moment I decided a little electric screwdriver Might be great. I was VERY surprised to find out that they can run $80-$100+ for reputable brands at the blue and orange stores. $100 tool to zip little screws out?!For 20, this is absolutely awesome. I have a vast array of drill sets and socket sets with the quick change fittings so I can fit all kinds of adapters and extensions and sockets and screwdriver heads and hex wrench and anything else I can think of on to this little zippy driver. It can fit in my pocket, Has a couple of magnetic bit holders built into its body, easy forward and backward paddle shifter mechanism and a special wraparound trigger so it can be used like a drill grip or can grab the top of the body to use it more head on like a screwdriver.I was thinking to buy a straight screwdriver type version but the $28 skil one still charges with micro USB! A junk obsolete charger from 20 years ago! Black and decker has a cool pivoting handle one that I would’ve bought for $25 but it comes with one of their annoying proprietary chargers that are also thin delicate cheap junk. I was worried about ordering this if it would also be micro usb, but I found a recent review where a guy said they recently changed this to USB-C. I can report mine is USB-C Charging so I can charge it with all the chargers we have laying around the house. And it truly fits in the palm of my hand so I’m not so worried about the straight design versus the pistol grip design. I have many adapters and extensions to get this to fit anywhere I might need but it is so small it already fits almost anywhere. So as mentioned, stop comparison shopping and just buy this for 20 bucks! Even if it breaks in five or 10 years, buy another one and you still will have only spent a THIRD of the Dewalt or Milwaukee versions.

Small but mighty
I bought this a few months ago to replace an old one I had. I wanted something smaller so it’s easier for me to hold since I am a woman with smaller hands. I was very surprised by how powerful it is. I really love the handle design and it’s build very well. I love the kit that comes with it. My husband ended up using it and loves it too so I bought a second one for me again. Cannot go wrong with this.

Good
I have a weak wrist, and this is light and easy to use for me on small project. It grip the bits really well and not easily fall out. Easy to remove as well. The light is useful. It is not like it only activates when you start the power. You can use the light to see the spot you want to drill before start the trigger. There is symbols on sides to show you where to turn (for tighten or loosen). But is is not visible enough for me because I am old. :)The compartment in the box can be better. It doesn’t seem stack up well.

Get this one
I am so happy with this purchase! I ordered this and got a set of bits that had Allen wrench tips. I needed to assemble a tv stand with fireplace insert, coffee table, end tables and an electric standing desk. This little work horse was perfect! It was quiet, had enough power, didn’t loose its charge and was small enough to get in the most awkward of places. I will be leaving this one at the apartment for my adult child, but buying another for me at my house!

Terrific Little Tool
Great for small jobs. Especially for working overhead. It’s designed and built well, the latter point underscored by the 5 year warranty. Has just enough power for driving screws for small jobs as well as drilling small holes using a pin chuck. Really pleased to have a well-made alternative to reach for when the overkill of heavy, bulky regular tools is just way too much.

Firstly it is the most comfortable electrical screw driver I used. Gentle to not damage the screw and powerful enough for 99% of use case. I have impact driver for the rest 1%, it is non issue. For the device itself, I have used it (lightly) for almost 2 months without a single charging. I am not worried about the battery life. The build quality I would definitely say it is not up to SKIL. Don’t get me wrong, it is decent tool considering its price. But for SKIL brand I expected more. The triggering button is a little loose and the idea of separate light and spin is great but the execution is not there. It is about half of the time I cannot make the asynchronous lighting and spinning correct. The charging is micro USB. It would save me lot of hassle if it is USB-C.Will I recommend this to others? Yes. But I will tell them this is a handy tool, but not some beast SKIL usually make.

No es para uso muy rudo, pero en general es bastante útil y buen precio, me ha durado bastante y si la utilizo con frecuencia, la carga dura bastante.

PROS:Light, nimble, easy to use. Not a power tool but seems good for those usual jobs where it saves your wrist twisting a million times that screw.LED turns on when pressing just halfway the switch (meaning without turning on the driver yet), which is nice allowing you to fit the bit in the screw in a dark area.In LOCK mode, only the LED works, so you can use it as a small lantern if needed.Direction switch (screw/lock/unscrew) is conveniently placed on BOTH sides, so you can switch it if you are either right or left handed, nice touch.Has an indicator of the direction on top, an arrow, which I find least useful, but not bad to have.Uses a standard USB charger (1A), which is the “slow” charging USB in terms of cell phones. Nothing wrong with that. Uses the older miniUSB end, the one that you never guess right from the first time (not the USB-C which is symmetrical). Having USB charging is very useful, as you can remove the transformer and charge it just with the cable from any PC/Laptop.Bright green led on top shows charging status, by the rate of blinking, like that. However, don’t think it will light up when almost discharged, altough have yet to get there to see. They say if you register online (which I did) you get 5 yrs warranty overall and 2 yrs warranty for battery and charger, which is nice if it will honoured.Grip is very good indeed, has some good quality rubber on the handle and on the top part, so however you grab the tool, it WILL stay in your hand, not slipping at all. Kudos for that, a small but important feature.CONS:No torque adjustment.Magnetic bit holder and extender (it comes with it separately plus 9 bits) lost its magnetic “pill” (a tiny round metal with magnetic properties, badly glued on the bottom of the holder), in the first 15 seconds!! Practically when I took out the first bit I tried on it, the bit came out with that magnetic part stuck to it, so now the extender is NOT MAGNETIC ANYMORE.Not a huge deal though, as I have better ones, you can buy for under $10 good quality ones.My only worry is to not get the same issue with the main bit holder, as that one cannot be replaced. I know someone complained exactly about that. Will see, for that I can invoke the warranty.OVERALL: only had it for couple hours, but seams the tool I needed, minus the lack of torque adjustment (which they did not hide, I was aware of). Sturdy, fits well in my palm (have an XXL glove side, so should feel good to most people). Recommend as a quick handy tool, to keep around the house.
