The shoes are exactly AS ADVERTISED. Effortless slip-on. More of an “upscale” look than their velcro strap counterparts from other brands. IMMEDIATELY comfortable, NO “breaking in period.” I only have ONE caveat, and that’s that you should not confuse these with “hiking shoes.” We live on a dirt road that gets “re-paved” a few times a year with dirt and rocks. I call our road “THE SHOE DESTROYER.” I don’t walk on it often…only when I take our dogs for “walkies”…and that’s when I wear the more rugged shoes I own. For everything EXCEPT dog walkies on a dirt and gravel road, you will LOVE these. When the time comes, I will buy them again without a moment’s hesitation.

Sizing is important
I’ve been a loafer/slip on guy ever since we had to take our shoes off at airport security. Where were these then? Seriously you don’t bend down, you don’t lift it up and help the heel, you kick em right side up on the ground and step in and go!One caution. Since these are friction fit, more or less, you have to get the right size for comfort and to keep them in place. Some are wider and longer than other models and the wide ones fit a little big for the size. If you find one that you like in a size that fits, buy a couple at the right price. I love them.

I just got these today, so I can’t comment on durability whatsoever. But I will say, as my first pair of Skechers Slip In sneakers, they appear to be the bomb. I’m nearly 75, so bending over to put on shoes – let alone lace them up – is one of my least favorite things to do. These go on and off with incredible ease. I’d recommend them for that alone! But once on, they feel light and soft and I’m walking around the house with a sensation of walking on a – dare I say it? – cloud.I wear a size 11, and that’s the size I ordered, and they fit perfectly. I was somewhat worried because a recent attempt to purchase walking/running shoes resulted in having to order size 11.5. But not with these.Without hesitation, I would recommend these shoes. And if you’re a senior, like me, I’d say “What are you waiting for? Pull the trigger!”

Great idea but…
I bought some Skechers in my normal size which is 10W. Then I found out how they make the slip on work. They are much larger than all of my other shoes. People commented on how huge they look on my feet. And they are, in fact, too big. They were wearing out so I bought a pair of the same shoes but in 9.5W. Better fit but still too big really. I’ve attached a picture of the Skechers next to my other 10W sneakers so you can judge for yourself. Honestly, I could probably wear 9W because, in addition to being already too big, they stretch as you wear them in like all shoes. I would recommend getting these in at least 1/2 size smaller than your normal size.

Bought them for my husband. Tried of bending down to tie laces. Told him about Skechers slip in. He loves them. Says they feel like he’s wearing slippers. Lightweight. Cushion on his feet. Will be buying more slip ins. Great value.

Comfortable, true to my size
I needed to break these in a couple of times and now these are all I wear. They are very comfortable; I wear a size 10.5 which is what I bought even though Amazon recommend a size 13. I don’t know where they get their sizing from, but I have been burnt by them before. These are true to your size, they slip right on and don’t slip off while walking.
