Ordered two more, Easy install method, Easy set up
The separate garage has a rear door and our yard has had a privacy fence installed around the perimeter. We can not see the back of the garage and most of the back yard from inside our house. Our lot is long and narrow in an area of Victorian homes which are also long and narrow. Our problem is we can not see most of the back yard or behind the garage at all. We came home from a week end and noticed someone had entered the property recently, but we didn’t have the camera put up. Now it’s up and we love it. Not just for security, but we can see the dog, all the birds, watch incoming weather all from the house. We are hoping to pick up the Northern Lights this winter. We think it will since the picture is as good as my phone and that picked them up. We have it connected to an iPad and direct it from there. We still have to figure out a few thing and get rid of the wind chime in the back yard. It picks up audio from a distance of about 60 ft with no wind. It does pick up some wind noise if the microphone is the right direction for that to happen. We keep it muted. I did use the voice when I saw my other in the yard and he heard me from 50′ away. I followed him as he walked toward it and the motion is smooth and steady. It doesn’t take much to move it. He couldn’t tell what I said, but knew it was me from the sound of my voice! We are pleased enough that we ordered 2 more. The quality is there and as far as recording, It will do it, we just haven’t tried that part out yet. It also alerts when there is motion with a jingle, not annoying at all and it only alerts for larger motion, not birds, leaves or objects blowing around. For further away motion, it will alert for humans moving even on the other side of our 6′ privacy fence if they are near the fence. Your best bet, is mount the camera to a board, then mount that board to the eave of your roof at a corner or peak. That way you can put the solar panel to the sun and the camera covers what you need. Put it on the board first, then when you go up on the roof or ladder, you are mounting a minimum of stuff instead of trying to put it all together up there. He also tested it to make sure we could receive from the ipad over that distance before doing anything with mounting. The camera is about 60ft. from our modem and the ipad picks it up no matter where it is.

Good for watching construction sites
I am very happy with the security camera and I would recommend it to anyone needing a solar powered cellular camera. I am building some new houses and I wanted to get a camera to hopefully discourage thieves from stealing from the construction site. I didn’t realize how helpful it would also be for checking on the job site to see if materials have been delivered or if the contractors were there working. It has saved me tons of time that I used to spend driving to the job site to check. I also believe that it has to help with dissuading thieves. Everyone that drives by knows they are being recorded. I even had some 24 hour surveillance signs made. I made a tower with a couple of 16’ 2×4’s and post hole diggers and installed my camera on that. I am definitely happy with my purchase. I bought 6 months of cellular service and after my 30 days of cloud data service is up I plan to purchase 6 months of that too. Considering what you get, I feel like the service plans are worth it. The camera has a motion sensor that turns it on when it senses movement. You can also turn it on to check it anytime. It swivels side to side and up and down and also has zoom. Also I feel like the purchase price was very reasonable. I’ve had it a few weeks so far and it is more than what I expected it would be when I bought it. It’s good for construction sites. It seems plenty good.

Great security option!
I purchased this camera for security on a job site that had no power or WiFi available. I needed something that would connect to my phone from anywhere and notify me of activity, as well as give me the ability to monitor the job site progress. So far, this has done exactly what I needed!The camera itself came with everything it needed for mounting and for charging; including a solar panel for charging (which came with a suitably long USB-C cord). Mounting the camera was easy and downloading the app was no harder than any other app. The camera connected the first time without issues and began to work immediately. I was actually surprised at the quality of the picture! It is clear, the color is good, and the zoom feature works well. Also, it pans right and left and up and down with great range. I tested the sound and it works well. It’s clear, and the volume is better than I was expected.I charged the battery overnight to start but have relied only on the solar panel since then. The battery stays charged, even though it’s been cloudy and rainy for a while.When I ran out of the trial period for cell connectivity (it only lasted a couple days for me), I purchased the monthly wireless plan right from the app on my phone and it wasn’t too hard. It took a few hours for the camera to reactivate, but it has worked without a hitch since then. (Maybe if I had powered it off and back on it would have reconnected sooner. Either way, it works and I didn’t have to do anything.)If I need more cameras, I will definitely just buy more of this exact one. I do recommend it!

Llevo casi dos meses usándola y hasta hoy todo bien, puntos a resaltar la alerta de movimiento funciona bien aunque en algunos casos los clips de grabación no tuvieron una continuidad y los segundos que graban se me hacen pocos, debería tener la opción de grabar más tiempo, la calidad de la imagen es de lo mejor si tienes una buena señal de internet, el altavoz a través de la cámara me sorprendió se escucha fuerte y claro, capte una hermosa luna llena en el modo nocturno.
