Good Battery Operated Indoor/Outdoor Security Camera
This security camera was extremely easy to set up, I essentially just powered it up and it did the rest. I already had the VicoHome app for another camera, and this one was easy to add to the app. It is a very small profile. It comes in white and has a very clean look. I installed it outside and it provides a clear picture on the darkest of nights. I could not see anything with my naked eye, but as shown with picture attached I could clearly see the yard and trees. The white light illuminated dimly the area closest to the camera. It was easy to mount outside, I secured it to our trellis. The sound from the camera comes from a speaker on the back of the unit. I tried the alarm and talking. Both were on the quiet side. The sound may be more effective if you are using the camera indoors. I also included a picture in the daylight. Lastly, you can mute the camera so you do not hear the sounds the camera hears. It is a stationary camera, so once positioned, you can not change the view angle from the app. You can zoom into the picture though. The picture is great. You can also adjust the picture quality if your wifi does not have enough bandwidth. Overall a good camera, but you need to make sure it has the features you need.

Peace of mind. Would recommend
I’ve been using this camera indoors for about two weeks, and it’s been working really well. I mainly got it to check in on my dog when I’m not home, and it gives me real peace of mind. The picture quality is sharp—2K resolution really does make a difference—and it covers my entire living room plus the front door area. If anyone comes in, I’ll have a clear recording.The motion alerts are accurate, and I like that it can tell the difference between a person, pet, or package. I also appreciate the two-way talk feature—it’s nice being able to speak through the app when needed. Night vision works well too, even in full darkness.Setup was simple since it’s wire-free and battery-powered. I haven’t had to recharge yet, and I like that it doesn’t need any cords. It’s advertised as outdoor, but I’m using it inside, and it’s been perfect.Overall, I’d definitely recommend this camera for anyone looking to monitor their home or pets. It’s reliable, easy to use, and the app makes checking in from anywhere really convenient. P.s. I did not permanently place it, just set it on the bookshelf. It’s nice to be able to move it to another room.

Solid little camera
This is our second camera of this brand. The first one has to be plugged in. We bought this one for our chicken coop because it’s rechargeable. I think we can even get a solar panel for it to keep it charged. So far we’ve had it up for a week, as of today. It’s still over 50% charged even with it set up for motion detection/notifications and me constantly checking in our baby chicks all week. lol. It was incredibly easy to set up and easy to navigate. We like that it has a little light on it as well, so we can see in the evenings when it’s between color and night mode. The quality of the picture is surprisingly good. It has several other handy functions, such as an alarm and speaker so we can talk through it as well. It works smoothly enough as well even though on occasion there’s a little lag when you first switch to live mode. Overall, we’re really stoked about this little camera and the price was definitely right! I don’t think you can go wrong with it. We would definitely buy it again. I’ll update if we have any issues as we use it. 🙂

Good value, versatile, runs on rechargeable batteries
The camera is similar to others that I have purchased. It comes with a mounting ring that allows the camera to be easily repositioned. The quality of the pictures is quite good, even at night. The app allows the sensitivity to be adjusted, and it has an option to also take videos to an SD card or for a paid Cloud service. There is a feature for a siren and a light to come on when activated, with the alarm time adjustable.You can review photos and videos via the VicoHome app, which can be downloaded from the appropriate Android or Apple app store, and it is free to use. It can also be installed on an iPad for larger images. It seems you may only be allowed to log in to one app at a time. The app has various other paid features like Intelligent Notification and setting a more precise activity zone.This model works on rechargeable batteries, and it would be good to be able to order a solar panel.

Great camera!
This camera was a great home security addition.Pros:-Incredibly easy and quick set up-Huge field of view on camera- Clear crisp image, decent zoom-Easy to use intuitive app-Picks up WiFi signal from a good distance-Has 2 years free cloud storage of 72 hours of video, so with 10 second clips it will save a ton of clips before you have to go delete any-It’s not required to buy cloud storage like some other reviews said, if you put an SD card in you can save video without relying on the cloud (just like every other security camera I’ve bought in the past).Cons:-Cord is only about 2 feet long so it’s not feasible to leave it plugged in all the time, haven’t had it long enough to know how long the battery lasts-You can’t opt out of their “cloud” and just use an SD card. Even with the SD card in it the camera still saves free screenshots of all movement in the cloud-Has ads for buying more cloud time in the app with the occasional “pop up” ad while using the app prompting you buy more storage.

CHARGER NOT INCLUDED!
DOES NOT COME WITH THE CHARGER! I wish I could have realized before I ordered 3 of these, it appears to be a very good product. But after reading through all the reviews, it appears that customer support is based in (guess where) CHINA! And is also unreachable either by phone or email. Considering that I need these year round and they will be mounted up high (requiring me to use a ladder to access them for charging) I decided to return them (I ordered 3) and get the Arlo cameras which come with solar charging. Ya, they are more expensive I got these for a huge discount. Now I know why. I’m surprised they have a 5 star rating with so many reviews, both positive and negative.
