Happy with the storage
This was originally bought to add storage to my playstation 4. But when I got a playstation 5 I wanted to use it to keep my playstation 4 games and allow for more space to be available for new playstation 5 games. It was easy enough to disengage from my ps4 and format for my ps5. Have had no problem with corruption of files. Love the amount of games I’m able to save.

good hard drive 4TB is MORE then enough
bought this years ago and works just fine. my ps4 stopped working but to this day holds my games from ps4 on it. dont unplug it until manually disconnecting or you will corrupt your game data

2019 and going
I bought this in 2019, it is now January 2025.I have another ps4 that is now the family one, it’s low on storage. I decided I’ll get another one, for no reason I started looking at some low reviews. I decided to write a review myself.I have used this hardrive since 2019. Started on my PS4 pro and then I got a PS5 needless to say I simply unplugged it from the PS4 and plugged it into the PS5. The hardrive without missing a beat had all my games I had stored from PS4 ready to play. This has been great, it’s important to me since I still don’t have fast internet therfore I keep any game I downloaded saved so I don’t have to wait hours to re-download something I want to play again.

Storage is good, it’s looks good and compact easy to set up. If you disconnect it by accident when you connect it again it’ll take a while to read and it’ll go back to normal.

Awesome product, that extended my PS4 to 4.5 TB (was 500 GB before). Now I can install everything I want as if the drive was internally like the 500 GB.No more need to uninstall games to install new one. I’m thinking about buying a new one to extend to 8.5TB!!!The only small con is that, as many have said in reviews, I had to format the drive and configure it to work as extension instead of separated external drive. My PS4 didn’t let me use it as external drive, but beside that, it is working very great since few months, never getting hot, never had any problem to have it works when I open the PS4.*** Suggestion, if you have the login screen on your PS4 instead of going directly into your account, it helps the drive to launch in the background. If not, give it 5-10 second to be loaded and your consol will sees it as a Internal drive.*** Since I use it, my PS4 have better performance.

Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que j’utilise le même disque dur et j’en suis très satisfaite. Disons qu’il fait ce pour quoi il existe. Il stock parfaitement tous les jeux que je met dessus. Ma console s’en porte beaucoup mieux. Donc je recommande ce produit.
