Sturdy, Sleek, and Totally Rock‑Solid: Razer’s Adjustable Stand Handles Even My Large Laptop
I wanted one stand that could lift my heavy 15″ gaming laptop, survive travel and still look clean on the desk. This Razer model nails it.The entire frame is CNC milled aluminum and feels like a single solid slab with no flex, no wobble. The dual hinges hold their position even with my 5lb Alienware m15 r3 opened up wide. Raxer includes a 5mm hex key so you can dial in hinge tension once and forget it.Both height and tilt are fully variable. I keep the back raised about 6″ for eye level viewing and then drop it flat when I need to pack up. The hinge movement is smooth and precise; it never “jumps” or sags when you set an angle. Because it supports anything from a 14″ MacBook to an 18″ desktop replacement rig, this should future proof most upgrades. The vented top plate leaves most of the laptops underside exposed, so fans can breathe and temps stay a few degrees cooler compared with sitting flat. I ditched my cooling pad. Rubber pads on the arms prevent sliding and protects the paint.Fold it shut and the stand turns into a flat rectangle about half an inch thick, easy to slip in a backpack. The anodized finish resists fingerprints and matches Razers matte black peripherals.Bottom LineFor sheer sturdiness and smooth adjustability, I can’t imagine a better stand. If you need something that holds big, heavy laptops without a hint of flex while still packing flat for travel, this is it.

    Excellent stand. Poor value.
This stand is seriously heavy duty. Made from solid cast aluminum, it feels premium and incredibly well built. The design includes ventilation along the back and thin high density foam at both the top and bottom to prevent your device from making direct contact with the metal. The bottom lip extends about half an inch and holds my 13 inch iPad Pro securely with no wobble. The hinges are stiff, which actually works in its favor…they stay locked in place once adjusted. You can fine tune the tension using the included hex key, which is a nice touch.CONS:This stand is overpriced compared to similar models. You’re easily paying a 40–60% premium just for the Razer logo, without gaining any added features. And to make matters worse, Razer only includes a two year limited warranty. That feels a bit underwhelming at this price point–I’d gladly pay more for peace of mind, but Razer doesn’t deliver in the warranty department. For $99, you can find stands with additional features like Usb-c hubs, built-in cooling, or more adjustable options. Don’t get me wrong–it’s a good stand, and I personally lean toward premium brands for the aesthetics. But functionally, this one doesn’t offer much to justify the markup.

Overbuilt and Overpriced — Only Justifiable If You’re Deep in the Razer Ecosystem
I picked this up through Amazon Vine and honestly, that’s the only reason I even considered it. If I had to spend $100 of my own money on this, I’d wouldn’t even hesitate, I’d move on to the next product. But free doesn’t mean I’m not about to review without considering the hypothetical cost.As expected, it comes in standard Razer packaging with a couple of branded stickers. What stood out (for the wrong reasons) was the over-the-top opening line in the instructions: “Congratulations, your setup is now truly complete.” That level of self-importance is something Steve from Gamers Nexus would have a field day with.Functionally, it’s solid. It blends in well with my all-black desktop setup and is a big upgrade from the cheap, non-adjustable stand I previously used. This Razer stand offers both height and angle adjustments, which is great. But what really sold me, figuratively speaking, was the venting feature, since my work-issued laptop tends to throttle from heat.Still, let’s address the glaring issue: the price. For what is essentially a chunk of aluminum with two hinges, it’s wildly overpriced. Yes, the hinges feel robust. Yes, it’s adjustable. But even simple things, like removing the end caps, are annoying. You’ll want to use a small flathead wrapped in painter’s tape to avoid damaging the finish. At least it includes a 5mm hex wrench.Bottom line: it’s a solid stand, but unless you’re a Razer enthusiast or have cash to burn, this doesn’t offer a great value. If a friend gifted it to me and I saw the price, I’d seriously consider exchanging it for something more practical.

High quality laptop stand, above point pricing.
I will say that Razer does have a way of expanding its laptop accessories lineup even into this new adjustable stand. It does lack the flashiness of it other gaming gear, the stand does seem to solve a common issue with using laptops on desks. I like the fact that you can customize the height of the Razer laptop stand and modify its tilt angle with its two-point articulation. It comes with an included hex key, you can change the angle of a laptop and how far it sits above desktops. It allows me to elevate my laptop off my desk while maintaining image clarity at eye level. It is good to note that they adjustability of the laptop stand also has ergonomic advantages by easing neck strain regardless of a laptop’s position in a setup. While I do have a Razer Blade 16 inch, it is large enough for Razer Blade 18-inch laptop and most any smartphone or tablet. With non-slip rubber pads, even the largest devices stay secure regardless of the tilt levels. The build quality utilizes anodized aluminum that seems to withstand the wear and tear of both daily use and travel. I was pleasantly surprised that it compacts to under 2 inches tall to become reasonably portable in just about any bag.
