Great product!
I have not used a Paula’s Choice product previously – so this is not a brand review – it’s only a product review. I wanted to try this product out and purchased it on Prime Day because honestly it would have been less expensive if I didn’t like it. I should state that I have extremely dry skin so I am reporting how that worked for me. I have previously tried other cleansing balms and micellar waters and been disappointed because I never felt as though they took off the make up. I put a little more than a pea size amount on my finger and began massaging my face and I could see that my makeup was coming off. I use a primer with my waterproof mascara and it melted the products I use off my face. It’s also important to note that I use sunscreen on my face and wear full coverage make up. A little goes a long way with this product. You don’t need a lot. I felt that my skin was prepped for cleaning my face with my face wash after. Using this product as a step one, along with my other product, really cleansed my face. As far as residue left on ny face from the balm, I didn’t notice anything because I thoroughly patted ny face dry and then washed it with another product (First Aide Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser). Between the two, ny face was clean, glowing, and hydrated. I recommend this Paula’s Choice product. I feel like for the cost and the results, this is a great product that you can use everyday and will only need to replenish one other time in a year. Hope this review helps! Staple Cleanser
Great for a skin reset and with daily use, I have repurchased many times! I like to apply before showering then slowly rub off in intervals in the water. For best results follow up with a foam cleanser.

Best for waterproof makeup.
This is by far the best face wash out there. Worth every penny and more. It’s the only face wash I have found that gets all my waterproof makeup off without having to scrub my skin off 🤣. Plus, it leaves my face feeling super soft! Highly, HIGHLY recommend

Favorite Paula’s Choice Product of All Time
This is literally a 3 in 1 product. It’s silky smooth and removes makeup while cleansing your face and leaving it feeling hydrated rather than dry. It doesn’t make you feel greasy either. It’s amazing! Best cleansing product there is!! Works so well and there’s virtually no scent but what you can smell, I like! It’s amazing all around!

Helps with dry skin
Any and ever cleanser I have ever used as always made my skin dry. This product is completely different. There are two ways to use it. I do not wash the product off my face after I’ve scrubbed/cleansed my face, I simply pay dry. It stays on my face through out the night into the next morning.

This balm is not good for folks prone to acne…
I have new acne cysts every time I use this product. I love Paula’s Choice, but I definitely cannot use this product for large pore, acne-prone skin.

Utterly useless, especially for the price. I purchased this as tube packaging is much more convenient for travel, and I have used Paula’s Choice products previously. This was a serious disappointment as the balm doesn’t remove makeup and that is kinda its purpose. I took this with me on a recent trip as my first cleanser in the two step routine, and OMG, what a struggle this was to remove all eye and face makeup daily. In saying that, as this was a holiday, I didn’t even have much makeup on to begin with. So this product has been a complete waste of money.
