lenovo was a big problem with this purchase. the seller actually went way above and beyond to get lenovo to validate the warranty for one year. they tried to say it was only for 3 remaining months because it was in another country? Lenovo’s customer service has rises to that of AT&T or the cable company. at the bottom of the barrel. Thank you to OEMGENUINE for fixing Lenovo’s stupidity. great communications and fixed it quickly.

Daily Driver Laptop Great for Work
For a work laptop, this does everything and then some at a reasonable price point. Great speed and stability, even handles light amounts of gaming with the integrated graphics. Isn’t heavier than a rock carrying around either, which is always nice.

Manual activation of Windows 10 Pro required
I’m liking this computer so far. No problems other than the fact that Windows 10 Pro said the digital license wasn’t valid when first setting it up. Another review here mentions formatting the SSD to have it work, though there’s another way, probably simpler. Just google how to find your product key with a Powershell command. Run that command and Powershell should spit out a product key that looks different than the one that Windows reported as invalid. Then just go to Change Product Key, and enter the key you got from Powershell. Activation was successful after that, no need to format anything.

Great laptop but the keyboard is not backlit
If you need a fast and reliable laptop, you found it. This laptop actually lives up to its specs. Pretty decked up hardware and software. The booting is really fast. I got to the desktop in under 30 seconds with a login. There are a couple of issues, one being a missing feature. First of all the laptop has a plastic feeling. I understand it is E Series Lenovo, one of their entry-level quality laptops. I mean even with that, it should be a little better built. I also really need the backlit keyboard as I code in the dark, lights out. If the backlit keyboard is a must for you, this is not your laptop. Otherwise, it is a great laptop (spec-wise) with a fast response to any task and app.

So far it is quick and responsive I just received it and now seting it up. In my opinion it will be advisable to use this device with a laptop cooler other than that its awesomeNo back light on keyboard but in a low/well lighted room the keys are easily recognized

I’ve been a longtime purchaser of Lenovo Thinkpads as they seem to have the best reputation for build quality out there.I purchased this laptop as my old Lenovo simply wasn’t capable of editing video which has become an important part of my job.Editing and rending 1080P video on this laptop is a breeze and the performance is lighting fast.This is the first time I’ve run Ubuntu on an AMD processor and so far there have been no problems.A good investment and I’m hoping it will provide at least a few years of intensive daily use.
