Thank you DIYMOBILITY for saving my iPhone 4. My phone would not charge and it went through multiple bouts of black screen where I could not power it on and the force reboot would only work occasionally. I had important data that I had not backed up and thanks to their product I was able to fix my phone, backup my data, and charge with no problems. If you are going to replace the dock connector make sure you buy the CORRECT SIZE which can be found by looking at the model number on the back of your iPhone 4 and searching online to see if it is CDMA or GSM. If you are going to replace this dock connector you ALSO should replace the BATTERY for an additional $10 or less. Watch the instructional videos on youtube as you have to remove the battery before you can access the dock connector. I made the mistake of replacing the battery first and when I noticed my phone still had issues I knew it was the dock connector and had to go back and remove all the little screws and pieces all over again when I could have saved some time and patience by installing the new dock connector before the new battery. So if your iPhone 4 is having issues take my advice and buy BOTH the battery and dock connector and install the dock connector first before the battery. Also try not to strip the screws on the inside of the phone and if you notice they are not unscrewing try a different tool. I accidentally stripped the battery screw and had to use a drommel tool to get it out. Learn from my experience and mistakes, but in the end this product did its job and so did the replacement battery I bought.

First order had a malfunctioning dock cable as is prone to happen with small electronics.Contacted DIYMobility for a replacement, within 4 days had a new part at my door free of charge.
