Stops steam getting inside microwave
I was very impressed with how this cover is able to collect all the steam and easily removed from the microwave. Without a cover steam gets all over inside the microwave, collecting at bottom and I find after a while rusting occurs. I have had covers before and doesn’t solve the steam problem like this one. It’s a domed shape so a cup can be placed underneath to boil water for coffee. Steam collects in the bottom groove and can be drained in sink. Leaving the microwave more dry. Would recommend.

This might be one of the coolest gadgets in my kitchen. I have so many uses for this gadget. I use it to cover fresh washed strawberries and grapes in my fridge, cover cakes, leftover plates, etc. BUT the best thing about this gadget is heating up left over spaghetti or pizza! The steaming part on top where you add water is perfect to keep your spaghetti or pizza moist and it won’t dry out. AND no more splatter stains left in the microwave. I’d much rather wash this than the microwave. Grab handle for easy on/off. Great quality!

steam function and moisture
I like the steam function when you fill the water in the small tank. With this function, I can warm the bread or other products without making the food too dry. Deducting one point is because it is plastic. Wish they had one that was made with glass.

Steam feature keeps food moist
This is the first time I’ve used a microwave splatter cover with water steamer. This warms up the food more evenly. I like the size, it has enough room, no direct contact to my food. It also looks nice and keeps my microwave clean from food splatter.

Great for shielding
I got it for the purpose of shielding the splatter which it does but I do feel like it heats up the vessel much more than it heats up my food. A lot of times I need an oven mitt to take out my food but the food ends up still like warm. Never had that issue with my old one from my nieces school fundraiser catalog.

Holds moisture
This microwave cover works very well. I like the steamer feature as it keeps our food moist. It also keeps the moisture from leaking out which contains the mess. It is durable and the handle is strong. It is the perfect size for our microwave and is a good value.

This microwave food cover lid is also a steamer!! It is made of food grade safe plastic I love that is clear plastic and easy to see into. The cover is easy to lift up with the handle.
