Excellent Support for My 3-Cushion IKEA Kivik Couch
Just like the other set I purchased for my Kivik with a chaise, this 72-inch wide couch support has been fantastic for my other IKEA Kivik couch, which is a 3-cushion model without a chaise. After several years of regular use, this couch was also starting to sag, and this support has completely revitalized it.Installation was incredibly simple – just remove the three seat cushions, lay the one-piece support down, pushing it all the way to the back of the couch frame, and then replace the cushions. It takes less than a minute. Because the cushions are large, you can’t see the support underneath at all, so the appearance of the couch remains unchanged.This support does an excellent job of bringing back a significant amount of firmness and support to the cushions. As someone who prefers a firmer feel, this has made a noticeable and welcome difference when sitting on the couch. Just like the other supports, I haven’t noticed any noise coming from this one either.If you have a wider, 3-cushion IKEA Kivik couch that’s starting to sag, I highly recommend this 72-inch support. I requested/received the couch version of this as a Christmas present… then it stayed in the box in my basement for far too long (part skepticism as I had tried and returned a less expensive brand; part general perimenopausal forgetfulness).When I finally got it out and put in on my couch I was AMAZED and immediately purchased the loveseat version.I hosted a gathering this weekend and the sibling who bought me the couch version asked me to send him the link again so he could get them for his couches.It feels like brand new furniture! A quick way to stabilize an abused sinking couch
Bought this for a couch that has been used and abused by kids jumping on it for years and now swallowed anyone trying to sit on it normally. It definitely stabilized the couch to where you do not sink, but it is literally wood boards covered in vinyl. It provides amazing support, but if your cushions are flimsy or have flattened over time you will feel like you are sitting directly on the boards.I use it for an oversized three cushion couch and it fit perfectly, the accordion style separation of the boards would allow you to fold over on one side if your couch is in between sizes, the depth of the couch is the most important measurement to get correct.So far it has held up to child use, but it hasn’t been subjected to much rough play/jumping. It is currently a temporary solution that is working until replacing it makes more sense after the kids have gotten older.

Makes old furniture like new again
So glad I got this! My porch loveseat was sagging big-time and was causing a lot of discomfort on my rump and tailbone. I put this on and it’s like new again. The loveseat, that is…not my rump or tailbone. This saved me from buying new furniture, and saved me a lot of pain. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Added Needed Support
I have a loveseat that is over 7 years old and was beginning to sag over time. This facelift board added much needed support making the loveseat feel just like it did when it was new. The product is well made and the boards were very sturdy. Happy with this purchase.

Minimally Effective
After installing the boards on my 78″ sofa, I would say that they do improve the depth of seating minimally. It seems that the heavier you are, the less effect it has on supporting you. The support is noticeable, but not as much as I would like.

Ok I don’t do a whole lot of Amazon reviews. I buy lots of stuff and I only review the things that are life changing…these are one of those life changing things people!I have a vintage couch and loveseat. I searched for months and finally found them but I hated that they sucked to get out of and they weren’t very comfortable because the cushions sagged and flattened out. So I bought these and let me tell you I’m dumb for not buying sooner. I’m only in my 40’s but before these supports I felt like I was 75 trying to get out of my loveseat….not anymore. Buy them. Don’t wait! My cushions look so much better and it has brought life back to my old, groovy vintage furniture!

Bought for my daughter’s 3 seater leather sofa. One of her seat cushions was sagging a bit which made it uncomfortable and hard to get up from. Although this was expensive (and took 2/3 weeks to be delivered) we decided to give it a try.It fits perfectly and definitely makes the sagging seat more comfy to sit on.Should extend the life of the sofa so we’re pretty pleased with it.

UPDATED REVIEW : The product does what it promises – it adds support to a sagging couch. Initially, it made my sofa much firmer, which caused some discomfort and soreness after sitting for a while. However, after I reached out to the vendor for support, they were incredibly helpful and responsive. They offered a solution that fixed my issues, and now the couch is much more comfortable.I appreciate the vendor’s commitment to customer satisfaction and would definitely recommend them now.
