I don’t write reviews. Ever. But I needed to share my joy because this is the best thing ever. I’m an engineer but have never used monitors because I like to move around a lot and can’t commit to sitting at a desk all day. So I looked into a portable monitor that attaches to your laptop. The first one I purchased was the kind that “clips” to your laptop screen, although I use the term clips loosely because it barely stays on and wobbles like crazy. Those kinds also claim to be portable, which they technically are, but they aren’t good if you’re someone like me who likes to move where you’re working throughout the day, because in order to move the setup you basically need to break down the whole thing and then set it up again as the monitors just slide down and stay in the same place when you pick up your laptop because they are just loosely attached to the side of the screen and not actually connected to the laptop besides through the wires (I hope that makes sense). So I returned that one and started looking for something that actually WAS portable in every sense of the word. And it’s this. This is perfect. I am absolutely obsessed with this and it is the most genius invention ever. The monitors being attached to the base that your laptop rests on makes the whole setup entirely portable with no need to break anything down and set it up again. It’s also surprisingly not that heavy considering all that goes into it. The fact that the monitors rest on pins is also amazing because there is no risk of breaking your laptop screen either, which I was worried about with the first one, especially because it is my work laptop and it is a very expensive MBP. The pins also enable the monitors to swivel all the way around! Instructions for setup are very clear although you don’t even need them. Setup is self explanatory and and very easy. The specs of my laptop are 16 in. MBP M4 Max Chip, so I believe instructions will vary based on your laptop and its specs, but it has every type of instruction necessary in the booklet. I also adore the versatility of this. I prefer the monitors horizontally, but they can also be placed vertically, on the other stand that comes in the box, or just used completely independently. My only qualm is that the wires that come with it are quite long. It’s really not a big deal, I just used the little zip tie/wire twist that came holding them together to keep them a little more neat, and I could always purchase shorter wires for it- and it’s understandable considering that some people will use the monitors separately from the stand and may need that extra length. But that is barely a complaint haha — this is absolutely genius! The monitors can also be placed inside of the base for travel which is how it came packaged. Genuinely I am in awe at this product. I know I sound like a nerd right now. But I can’t stop talking about this to anyone who will listen. 100% worth the price. I would pay double or even triple for this. Please buy this if you’re considering it.

Great size and quality, love my 2nd screen!
I had the 14″ version of this screen extender and liked it, but wanted something larger to match my 15″ laptop monitor. I purchased this version and gave the 14″ to my kid for his laptop. I work from home and while I have a docking station with 2 larger monitors, I am also rather lazy and like to sit in my recliner chair where I can work with my the feet propped up and watch a little TV in the background.The size is great, matches my laptop screen nicely. The quality and color, contrast, etc. is excellent, I’ve had zero issues powering it from my laptop USC-C port, even with my battery not plugged in and charging, no issues.It is different than the 14″ in that the 14″ was designed to really fit snugly on the laptop screen and no kickstand was needed. I did find the 14″ weight caused my laptop screen to sometimes fold down or back depending on how I was moving around, but it did stay tight on the screen.This version uses a spring slider mechanism to hold the laptop pretty snug around the laptop screen, I use it without the kickstand on my lap which causes the screen to slide down about 1″. I’m might try to solve that by installing a simple stick on L-bracket on the top of the part that goes behind my screen to hold up at the same level as my laptop., It’s really not a big deal, 1″ lower isn’t that big of an problem, I’ve been using it like that for days and I’m used to it, so maybe I won’t, we’ll see, as stated before, I’m lazy.Product packaging was really good, and it’s nice that actual written instructions are included, nice touch. I don’t use the sound features since my laptop has all my sound settings setup for MS Teams, Webex, Zoom, etc.Overall, solid quality product, easy to fit in my backpack when I travel for work and great to have with me when working remote, can’t underestimate the value of 2+ screens for work, once you go there you’ll never go back, so just get one, well worth the price!

Perfect for if you travel for work. Not necessarily for on the go use but if your work station changes frequently ie office then hotel then home – this is a great tool. Screen and display quality is good. Comes in a little pouch and all the cord management so makes it easy to take places. Stand on the back is great to keep the monitors up.
