    Superb Quality…everything in a camera..
You open the box and realize one thing right off. You made the right choice. It get better from that. There is one thin, it is short range from 6 – 8 in to 50-100 yrd perfect. Fir it size to performance ratio I’d say 9 out of 10 in its class. For price to that performance 11 out of 10 in its class. Quick zoom speed sharp imagery. All around superbly designed for ease of function use and picture quality. It’s a perfect fit to my needs in remodeling. It will probably fit yours as well.

    Great point-and-shoot underwater camera.
I wanted an easy-to-use camera to capture family vacation in the Bahamas, including snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in a water park. This camera performed surprisingly well taking descent photos in a variety of conditions over a week of intense use.Hardware:Self-contained waterproof camera rather than a traditional camera with a water proof case. Reasonable LCD although not the highest resolution. I was pleasantly surprised that digital images actually were crisper when viewing later on a phone or computer as opposed to on the camera screen.Ease of use:Take some time to get to know how to change modes from underwater to action shots before diving into the ocean. The menus are not easy to navigate on the fly if you are not prepared. Also the screen can be a bit hard to see underwater. Particularly while swimming, I took lots of photos and went back later to see how well I got the shot as opposed to looking at the image on the LCD.Photo quality:Attached a few photos of different lighting/photography conditions. For the most part, I was going for underwater photos. On sunny days, these water photos had good quality and the camera did well with autofocus. Lower light conditions in seaweed and rain gave rather muted murky photos. I had not expected to use the camera as much above water and was pleasantly surprised that this worked well in action mode for water slides and tubing. I did not take videos (save one of sharks) though there is the capability in the camera menus.Battery:Here is my one complaint! The battery that came with the camera has a small capacity 800 mAh. I used the small-capacity 800 mAh battery on the first day, and the camera seemed sluggish and slow to respond underwater. I had purchased a 1200 mAh battery with charger mostly to avoid having to charge the camera with a cable rather than charging the batteries (personal preference): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMWHFMDX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 . These large-capacity 1200 mAh batteries seemed to make all the difference being able to take a full day of photos and having a better camera response time. Either low or high capacity battery, don’t expect this to respond quickly like a DSLR. The Kodak is much more like early days of point and shoot digital cameras in an underwater version.

The most economical underwater digital camera now.
My old Nikon AW100 was broken and I had to buy a new one. As Nikon discontinued the model, I had to look for a different one. This is the cheapest one available now. It can be used up to 50 ft, deeper than AW100. The lens is just standard wide angle. I don’t like that it uses micro SD, it’s too small and hard to take it off. For charging, there is no clear indicator when it’s finished, and the battery stays in the camera which makes the camera in vulnerable position.

I loved the camera, what i like about it is that you don’t really have to change the setting for pictures to come out good. All i did was turn on flash and the pictures come out amazing!! i definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good quality camera but don’t want to pay thousands for one. I haven’t tried it underwater yet but that’s also a very cool future

    This is an awful camera.
I am a photographer by trade, so I know cameras. I bought this for some simple captures around the office as backups for files. I just needed something small that I can throw in my pocket and just pull it out when I need to. It was a replacement for another brand that had served me well for about 6 years, but it took some damage and finally was too hard to operate. Anyway, this Kodak model does a horrible job of focusing. Literally I have to take several shots, and even then, they come out of focus, especially when you zoom in. Maybe I got a lemon, but if this is how they all function, then these cameras are garbage.

    It’s ok.
I have a lot of trouble with this little camera. I still have not perfected how to hold it down to focus correctly. The small screen is also really hard to see with a mask and snorkel on. I have taken 300 pics and can use about 10 of them.

This camera was such a great purchase. I was very nervous to buy after reading some reviews but it has become my favourite camera.I purchased for a holiday that needed an underwater camera and it does not disappoint. The camera comes with the camera itself, a battery and a cord to use for charging (but no adapter plug- something you need to provide yourself). The battery cannot be removed from the camera. The camera quality is amazing I’m very happy with it. I’ve also had no problems with shooting underwater- as long as the battery compartment is closed and locked (which the manual tells you how to do and is pretty self explanatory), the camera works perfectly underwater. The only slight issue I would have with the camera is that the battery does not last very long. Fully charging the camera lasts maybe a day/ a day and a half before it dies and you need to charge again. Maybe this is due to continual use but it’s not a deal breaker.Overall, this camera was very worth the purchase. When buying, make sure you read the manual to understand how to use the camera and enjoy!

This is a very competent ‘tough’ zoom camera at a very good price ( £158 on Amazon ) It’s rugged dustproof, sand proof, shockproof & waterproof down to 50 metres ( 165 ft ) and will fit into a jacket pocket. I have used it in teeming rain, swimming pools, seawater and of course on the beach – all with no problem. It has a built-in flash, optical zoom lens [ wide angle to short telephoto ], wi-fi, numerous scene modes including underwater. Also present are the usual shooting choices including Auto, Programme, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual & Panorama. Video can be shot in full HD.The viewing screen is bright, clear and easy to use both above and under water. It also performs very well as a general use camera for snapping everything from family groups to scenic views. The 4 x optical zoom lens copes well with both very bright and low light. Using the built in flash you can shoot in very poor light or use it to ‘ fill in ‘ and even out the amount of light needed for any picture.Does it really work under water – yes it does, though fifteen feet is the lowest I have ever taken it. Is it worth the money – yes, for use both as a specialist camera and as one for all general photographic uses.Is it fun – definitely!
