Great kid camera but why’d they have to put games on there?
My 3 yo has been trying to grab our phones to take pictures for ages so when I found this camera, I thought, perfect.. now we can encourage her to use her own device that isn’t a full-blown smartphone. Admittedly, they did not advertise this for kids this young, so we’ll see how things go after she gets it on her birthday. After looking it over myself, however, these are what I’d say the pro’s are: easy to get the camera into picture mode and when snapping photos it flashes the pic you captured briefly on the screen, so I think it will work perfectly for the intended use. I don’t know that I care to download the pictures regularly onto a laptop to back them up, so the fact that these aren’t high quality or easy to transfer isn’t a big deal to me. She just needs proof that the photos she took are saved somewhere and you can accomplish that by switching to the view mode. I also like how cute the dino with the flower is and that it’s a soft silicone case (in the inevitable situation that she is arguing with her brother over it and it drops or hits one of them, it’s less likely to cause any serious damage.)The biggest con I have is that it does have games on it. For families specifically trying to NOT encourage screentime, the idea of a camera that gets you interacting with other people and capturing the things you see around you is enough. If I wanted her playing games on it, I could cave and get her any other slew of electronic devices out there. So I’m just counting on not introducing her to that feature as long as possible, or taking it away from her if she’s using it to play games. But, all the same, would have been nice if there was at least an option to turn that off.Overall, quite happy with it and think she’ll be thrilled on her bday!

Well built child’s camera, a great toy for any younger children
My 4-year-old loves to have her own camera. There are a few cute little games, and some pretty basic filter elements, but it does what it is supposed to do and that is take pictures or record videos, it comes with a no name SD card that fits into an SD card slot, it is 32 GB and should be plenty of photo or video space. Which it is a children’s toy more or less so the picture quality and video quality is somewhat low end but good enough for your child to enjoy. The rubber protective casing comes on and off pretty easily and is a must-have to stand up to the abuse a child might give it. So far it has taken a lot of abuse and, gone through many charge cycles but still works great. The battery life itself is fairly decent for what it is too, easily recharges via usb-c

It’s fun but pictures are grainy…
The Kids Camera with Flashlight is a fun gadget that introduces children to photography in an engaging way. The camera is lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for small hands. The built-in flashlight is a nice touch, allowing kids to take pictures in low-light conditions, which adds to the excitement of capturing moments. However, the image quality is somewhat lacking, with grainy pictures that may disappoint budding photographers. Additionally, the camera’s features are quite basic, which may limit creative exploration. While it serves as a good starting point for kids, it may not hold their interest for long. Overall, it’s an entertaining product, but there’s room for improvement in quality and functionality.

Durable, easy to use, and FUN
When it comes to a toy like this, it should be easy to use, durable, and FUN – i.e., something that the kid actually wants to use again and again, encouraging them to explore. This camera fits all of those really well. Super cute, intuitive buttons for the most part, and sized for little hands. Picture quality isn’t wonderful, but it’s plenty good enough to keep kids wanting to use it, which is what’s important. It’s a pretty ideal starter camera for little ones.

Pleasantly surprised! A great little camera for my little two year old!
This camera far surpassed my expectations! For the price I wasn’t really expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised once I got it. My youngest son just turned two and loves to play with his older brother’s camera, but his brother, understandably, isn’t all that keen on sharing his all the time. So, I thought for Easter I would get my youngest a basic camera that he can call his own.Camera pros:- 1080p video- Takes good clear photos (a lot clearer than my sons VTech camera which was double the price)- The camera is very light (I thought it felt a little cheap at first but I’m actually glad it’s not much heavier. It’ll be comfortable for my little one to wear on the lanyard)- Has a few games (too advanced for my little guy but good for older kids)- Thick protective cover that’s removable (which protects the camera, memory card slot, and charging port)- Good quality lanyard- Large screen to view photos- Can turn the screen around to take a selfie- Has a TON of filters (color filters, kaleidoscope style filters, fun frames, and filters that are like Photo Booth props for funny faces)- Once you push the photo button the picture immediately takes. This may sound like an odd comment but this is not the case for my son’s VTech camera. With the VTech you have to hold the camera still for a few seconds after taking the photo otherwise the picture comes out blurry. What kid holds the camera completely still after snapping a photo?Cons:Honestly, none so far, I’m very happy with this camera!I took some pictures and a video to show how the camera works, its settings, and the quality of the photos and video. There are also a few showing the comparison in size and photo quality between my VTech and this brand. I haven’t taken any photos and printed them yet so that is the only thing I can’t comment on.If you’re looking for a fun small starter camera for a kid you can’t go wrong with this one!

cute and functional
cute camera. Good storage capacity. the quality of the pictures is not great, but that is to be expected for a kid’s camera. it was super easy for my 4yo to use. the battery doesnt last very long though. seems durable. i love that it has a flash feature and that it came with a usb to store her pictures.
