Works for checking in
Recently installed this and so far it is working fine. I use 2G because it is on the opposite side of the house from my router. I have not had any issues connecting when away from home. I mainly use it to check in and see what my yard looks like at the moment and to monitor a kiln I am running in a shed. I have not used it to monitor motion so I cannot speak to if it is recording all events – I have not paid for a subscription so I am able to see images of the clip from the time of a recorded event, which is better than nothing! I wanted to mount it vertically but could not get it to situate in a way with the odd space I have so I have it mounted horizontally.

Don’t buy
The last few months I’d be going on the app to check the room I have camera installed in and always hear people on it having full conversations, loudly… can never make out what they’re saying, (the room it’s in is completely empty, nothing on inside that would justify the talking) can’t get the seller to return any of my messages….

This is a small, good-looking camera. It does very well in all light conditions, and the (optional) motion-detected activation of white LEDs is handy. If you don’t need 4k, ie., don’t have a requirement to zoom in to a face from 50 yards, this is a great little camera. At the price you can toss them anywhere you’d like a little extra visibility- in the garage or shed for instance. It also doubles as a motion-sensing light to brighten up dark areas.Three pictures are attached. This is a basement room with no windows at night, so completely dark. #1 is the cam’s normal IR light, #2 is the cam’s white light (after motion detection), # 3 is with the room lights turned on. It does an impressive job in the dark.The only downsides I’ve found so far- I don’t see a way to integrate it into my local NVR, so I’m limited to their App for video review and monitoring. I’ll add an update if ONVIF works. Amazon integration isn’t working completely, I suspect it may require an EseeCloud subscription?

Unless you want to run a usb cable through your walls to mount it on your house :/ and the subscription is an issue I bought 4 total this brands Security cams and you can add all 4 to the app together you can buy a monthly subscription which I did and I’m not getting all of them like it says it can under 1 subscription fee ?So now I got to pull them all down restart the adding them to the app by scan barcode on the device because I bought a subscription and it only is covering for 1 of them.Im sure it’s an easy fix as I stated but having to take them down su cks

High quality easey setup
I bought this camera to watch over the babies playpen while doing house chores. The camera is very compact and mounts easily with the provided sticker and mounting hardware. As soon as I downloaded the app and plugged in the camera it was instantly sinking and setting it’s self up. It was a super easy and a painless process. I have had other ip cameras that were very difficult using a barcode etc. Not these once connected to the network it was up and viewing the intended area. One of the pictures I posted is actually zoomed in a little bit as to why you are seeing a tiny bit of distortion. Has an sd card slot that is very easy to get to for recording or you could use the cloud with the app. All in all this has great picture quality and even zooms in for a closer look when needed. I would not hesitate to buy another!
