Not our first or the last phone but the price is excellent
A great choice for a new phone. We love that it is unlocked as we use Tello for our provider. Quality is excellent 👍.There are no Samsung specific features available in settings 😔

i25 is a nice looking phone – Sadly it’s an ultra POOR performer in speed and connection.
I gave it a solid few days to test this phone out … ran a pretty simple game, did a bunch of installs, basic use, and opening and closing apps, restarts, charges … etc. Sadly this one lags and performs slowly in far too many arenas to keep it. In the video you can actually see how slow the game animation moves, it should be quick in and smooth, but it skips frame rate constantly. After four years of solid use my old Huawei Nova was finally starting to give up the ghost, mainly the battery and I wasn’t about to go through the headache of replacing it, miss those old days of easy user replaceable batteries. In retrospect my old Huawei was a really superior phone with excellent performance for the price, took great photos, ran fast and stable, nice Android OS … bummer Amazon isn’t carrying their lineup any more, some really nice unique designs and colors too and I know they are still innovating new models. Not wanting to spend a fortune on a new phone or go back to the inferior iPhone route … I decided to try out this I25 Ultra 5G 12GB + 512GB based on the specs, which sounded excellent for the price with a nice big screen and high resolution cameras front and back! … Unfortunately it ended up being a huge disappoint. Here’s basically why.PROS:- Feels solid built, good heavy weight, no loose parts. More square shape design, which I prefer.- Big 6.99″ inch OLED 3120×1440 high resolution display edge to edge with no heavy rounded corners, fairly brilliant display of colors (turns out OLED is dull compared to AMOLED).- High 108MP + 68MP cameras front and back than most phones, higher than expensive name brands by the specs.- Comes with clear fitted case and screen protector and charging cable.- Multiple body color options – just the main back of phone which is a dull muted color, not glossy, it’s hard to see the color in low light, you might think there’s another protective film to peel off, but there isn’t beyond the basic packaging. The edges are chrome aluminum and not colored.- Plenty of RAM and storage at 12 GB + 512 GB.- Android 14 Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Not entirely sure if that’s a plus, more likely a flaw of the OS. I was expecting a lot more, but the OS was terrible. No customization and no depth, even more basic than Apple OS and and iPhone.- 5G and 4G LTE, dual SIM cards with 3 slots, unlocked for GSM.- USB CCONS:- Terrible performance. Extremely slow processor, it’s night and day how slow a basic game runs on this phone. Lags between launching apps and how fast they open and close. Lags and stutters with simple game play, I tested the same game on multiple phones and this one was terrible. Lags in all basic operations.- TOO LOUD, the start-up chime and alert theme can NOT BE ADJUSTED !! Reboot, update or restart and the audio theme is on full blast, super annoying, most phones this volume can be adjusted.- Weak cellular signal, wouldn’t pick up signal in areas where my other phone would, same issue with WiFi.- Dull screen display and resolution, might boast big size, but the depth and contrast also lags compared to my old Huawei and new Xiaomi Redmi Note 14, which is absolutely amazing by the way.- Battery drains noticeably quicker at 7000 mAh compared to my Xiaomi at 5500 mAh, must be that big screen and inefficient running OS.- Stylus pen, could be a pro depending on how you use it, but for the most part it’s just wasted space. It does tuck into the phone nicely though.- No transfer app built in that helps you move everything from your old phone to you new one … apps, contacts, texts etc.- OLED which this phone is, seems far inferior compared to AMOLED, I certainly can see the difference !! No color or resolution depth.SUMMARY:If you want a bigger heavier phone with a bigger screen for phone calls and texting and like using a stylus pen on a budget … then this phone isn’t a terrible deal. Otherwise, If you’re a gamer or do a lot of productive work I’d keep shopping. I spent an extra hundred dollars and am so glad I did, it’s like night and day using a phone at 16 frames per second versus 64 FPS or 1.0 GHz versus 2.0 GHz respectively. On Amazon this same phone is sold by many different sellers with exactly the same specs or slightly modified packages and colors, one even has a slightly different rounded frame, but the actual model I25 Ultra is the same phone across the board. During setup I would receive email links asking me to continue setting up my “Redfox Wizpad Valuer R10S” … so maybe this is the true technical model name and manufacturer? No idea. All in all this phone was big a disappointment, glad I was able to return it through Amazon’s easy return policies. I was hopeful, but severely let down.
