A good TV
I read the many negative reviews on this Smart TV but bought it anyway as I have a 65 inch Hisense which works great. First off, all of the main apps are available: Disney, Hulu, ESPN, Max, MGM, Peacock and Prime. They were easy to load and log into. I am running off WiFi and was a bit disappointed at no LAN input. I am well away from a major city and also hooked up my outdoor antenna. That worked just fine and I have more over the air channels than ever.The picture and the sound are good. The remote is standard for a Fire TV and audio commands are effective. I am used to the Fire TV aspect of this and find it easy to navigate.The on sale price for the TV ($140) is quite a deal for a 40 inch set.All in all I am pleased. It doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles of my 65 inch Hisense, but that’s not what this set is about. It is fine for a small room and a great value for the money.

I bought for my RV, it has a coaxial inlet but the set up does not allow you to scan cable and antenna

Great tv!
I love this tv!! I haven’t bought a new TV in about 10 years and I am blown away about the price and how thin it is. I was amazed at how good the picture looks for a 1080p display. It was easy to set up and works great!

Excellent sound quality for the price and size. Picture quality is great and remote works even finer. A good size to use as a desktop monitor. Smart functions are also good. A good buy for me

Basically just an aggressive ad machine
It looks nice and it functions, however the apps are absolutely bombarded with constant ads. Can’t watch YouTube on it without an interruption every 5 minutes, and the remote is the worst I’ve ever had the misfortune to experience. Can’t navigate to another video easily if one is playing and if you misclick even once and then go back to where you were, oops, watch 3 more minutes of ads just to try clicking again. Pause for 2 minutes to check your phone or use the restroom? Here, watch 5 more minutes of ads before you can click play. The app remote is even worse. I’ll probably stick to using my laptop to watch anything and only use this TV for console video games. Unless that’s your only goal with this TV, I’d try something else. Definitely wasn’t worth the money since it’s more of an irritant than entertainment.
