Good hard case for Powershot V1
Good hard case for the Canon Powershot V1. It’s a great fit, but not much extra space. A few notes: (1) This is the perfect size for the camera and an extra SDXC card or two. I would not risk putting a USB charging cable in the zippered pocket as shown in the photo. It might fit, but I am concerned it will press against the camera, (2) I put my camera in the case with the front of the camera down instead of up as shown in the photo — it’s easier to get out and again I am concerned if lens is face it it might press against the zippered pocket, and (3) I recommend get a Kaiser 61mm slip-on lens cap (ASIN B0015KBB98) to put on and protect the lens from something pressing again the built-in lens cover.

Rugged camera case that could have many other uses
As is the case (pun intended) for me, often when I request a case, it is for something entirely different from its intended use. This request was no different. I have a small, portable laboratory scale with some calibration weights and I wanted to keep these items together and protected. This case met my needs (photos). It seems rugged enough to protect my equipment, it has double zippers, and a wrist strap. I suspect it would work well for its intended use, that of protecting the specified cameras, but it is a good case for virtually any equipment that will fit.PROS• Rugged case.• Water and dust resistant.• Double zippers.• Wrist strap.CONS• None.

The box is really sturdy. I got it for something different, and it fits pretty well, so I cannot complain; the price is okay as well.
