Good stabilizer for reasonable price..
As mentioned in Title, it’s a good stabilizer at reasonable price.Initially I was not able to stabilize and understand how it’s going to work and it was not working. Later understood about the button on the back of handle where we keep a finger. It automatically stabilizes and keep the phone in correct direction and orientation.I also tried a quick video and it’s also stabilizes the video much better than phones internal stabilizer. I mean this stabilizer and phones I ternal stabilizer both works and makes a better video.Negative side is that sometimes it doesn’t work and may be that’s because of the learning curve needed to use this stabilizer.The material quality is good and the grip is also nice in hand. The grip is necessary in case of long time video recording.The tripod below the handle is also useful to take group selfie by keeping it on flat surface.But that small negativity is ok for the other good part including the price and good quality material used. I would have given 4 star but 5 stars because of other positives.Update: there are stabilizing weights and we need to calibrate the stabilizer. After adding the weights and calibration, it worked fine so it’s good.

Not compatible with many things
The gimbal seems good. But the AP lacks a lot of depth the settings only support HEVC codec which isnât compatible with most things. Itâs the latest and greatest but new. And any older software, like a year old, isnât compatible. And Iâm having lots of trouble editing the footage. Iâm converting to other codec but I canât get a clean conversion. Why do they not have any other codecs? MP4 or anything?

A must have if you are going to do walking videos
Ordered for a YouTube project. After many hours of watching videos I came to the realization that the best and most informative video will get skipped if the camera is bouncing all over the place or shaking. I set out to find a stabilizer that was reliable but didn’t cost an arm and a leg (this is a hobby not an income source)Used during a ghost town tour and even with the rough terrain and me bouncing all over the place, the camera stayed solid. About 2 hours into using it, it kind of quit working but a quick restart resolved that issue.Before the first use it needs to be calibrated for your phone. If you plan to use a plug in wireless microphone, you need to calibrate it with the dongle installed. Any time a weight change is made on the phone, it will need to be recalibrated. The initial calibration is time consuming and kind of a pain. There are lots of YouTube videos that walk you through the process. The first time you calibrate, make sure you have time and access to YouTube. After the first time it gets so much easier!This came in a nice protective hard case. The case is kind of large and I wish they would have left provisions to add other items into the case (like the wireless microphones, charge cables/blocks etc.)to make travel a little less bulky and more convenient.This is a must have if you want to start a YouTube channel. The price isn’t super restrictive and it make a night and day difference on video quality!

Smooth filming
This is capture2 3 axis gimbal stabilizer is amazing! Using this makes filming effortless. It even has the ability to zoom in 5x! Having shaky hands when filming is no longer a problem because of its anti-shake high stability. It has a 12-hour long battery life, which is an advantage because I donât have to worry about how much battery I have left. Itâs easily controllable and has different angles, such as low angle. It also has object and face tracking, which makes controlling it easier, along with sliding zoom.

Disappointed
The gimbal works good when the battery is charged. The only problem is that it does not hold the charge. I bought it in Oct 2022, used it 2 or 3 times right after it’s first complete charge. Put it away for a few months used it again another 2 more times and put it away again. Brought it back out this year Feb 2024. This is when I noticed it would not hold the charge. The red light will just stay continually on. After many hours the red is still on. Now it’s July 2024 and the problem continues. I’ve used it maybe a total of about 9 times since I bought it. The other issue is the mini stand, one of the springs seems to be loose and causes one of the flaps to dangle. This is seriously annoying. I would not recommend it due to these issues.

Flops around at random
This phone gimbal is an absolute lemon. Its tendency to flip around at random makes it utterly unreliable and completely unfit for purpose. Save your money and your sanity â do not buy this gimbal. You’ll be better off hand-holding your phone than trying to wrestle with this chaotic piece of technology.
