Clever idea, okay implementation
It is a great idea, as it is easy to attach, but also easy to remove, so I can use a magsafe car mount or a magsafe charger without having to remove the phone from the case.It provides a strong grip on my magsafe case and functions as a kickstand for landscape viewing, but not portrait.It is nice that it comes with a mag ring to retrofit non magsafe cases, though I didn’t need / try that feature.At $14.99 as of April, 2025, it is significantly less expensive than most of the competive items on Amazon.I deducted a star because there was a crack in the plastic cap on the socket, and the socket itself has a somewhat cheap feel.

There’s a lot of resistance in pulling it out. And within a week the edges started to break off and it got sharp. It kept breaking more until there’s not much left to pull it out with.

Misleading color
It does what it says it’s going to do it’s very durable and it sticks to the phone really well I love how strong the magnet is it is really functional well however I ordered the purple and it looks blue the color does not match the picture and I’m actually really disappointed I wanted it to match my phone case 😔

I currently have a ring style phone stand that attaches to the metal ring sticker on my phone case and in all honesty, even though I like the appearance, it is not very functional as it’s hard to have a proper grip on it to hold my phone while watching videos. This phone grip is basically like a pop socket which attaches to the metal ring. The good thing is, it is big enough to use as a stand to support my Iphone 12 max pro so it allows the phone to be propped upright horizontally, whereas a regular pop socket does not. It does not work as a stand vertically though. I am able to grip my phone with this; because the placement need to be centered in order to use it as a stand, given I have smaller hands, I would prefer it sits a little lower, I guess you can’t have it all. It came in a plastic case with a metal ring sticker. Overall, it works well and I’m glad I got it.

very convenient
Great idea. This removable pop socket solves the problem of the phone fitting in the phone holder when driving. Now I can have both, a traditional car phone holder and a pop socket.The magnet is strong enough for me to feel comfortable in most situations. The pop socket is stiff at first but improves over time.I am happy witih this item .

Feels cheap but I mean what more can you expect from a popsocket. Other than that the magnetic is VERY strong so it made up for it feeling cheap.
