Great drill for household chores
This is a great little drill for those around-the-house type chores. It is powerful enough to accomplish most household duties, yet light-weight enough that I can handle using it, despite the fact that I have major arthritic pain in my hands. It is a great drill for the money! So much less than the big package stores sell, yet just as useful. So easy to use and easy to hold. It has great battery life, one charge was enough for my husband to repair several loose boards in the fence and for me to disassemble the dining room chairs to reupholster and them reassemble them. Still had a lot of battery life left after all those chores. I would recommend this drill for basic household duties.

For around the house light duty this is fantastic. Dont try to built a house with it.Over 5 years and going strong. You can find many batteries for B&D in 20volt capacity.Glad they stick with it over the years. For light duty 20 volts is perfect.

I do not use a drill frequently. I bought this because I already have a Sawzall from black and decker. Wanted to keep the same battery. Drill is smaller than my older one. Like that. Drill seems to have food power. I like the light location. Lights up the subject nicely. Seems like a small thing, but handy to actually see what you are doing. I see no issue after a few uses.

My first one was a real work horse. But it burnt out after some 10 years of use and so I got this 2nd one. Might just be me but The only thing I would say is the new one seems to cut out sooner between charges. Maybe it’s a safety thing for the battery or the drill.

Awesome drill but can’t use it as I was expecting to do some yard decorating and not able to.It’s supposed to come fully equipped but defective / missing keyless chuck in order to use the bits.I sent an email to Black and Decker to get a replacement. Let’s see how Customer Service handles it 😏 stay tuned…Update: called Amazon and they wonderfully sent me a replacement no hassle! Received and when I turned, the Keyless Chuck actually gripped the bit to use. I’m now a happy customer 😊 powerful drill for your home improvement needs!
