Nice hard drive for the price
The price and the space were almost too hard to believe. I wasn’t born yesterday, buddy. I know you’re going to send me a cheap piece of junk….but NOOOO! I was wrong and happily so. I use this hard drive to hold all of my media for my Plex Server and its great. The speed is fast. The case and LED lights are aesthetically pleasing on my desk. It’s small enough that it tucks right in next to my desktop. I dumped my old HD onto it and downloaded another few TB’s of media and it’s still has more space free than my last HD had altogether. I was worried by some of the reviews but have no fear. This drive is great! It’s fast enough to stream all of my media at HD or 4K over WiFi and remotely to my followers with no lag. If you are thinking this is too good to be true…you’d be wrong like I was. Bite the bullet and buy one. You won’t be disappointed.

well worth the price
i bought this hard drive last week,and its great. you just plug it up,and my win 11 pc recognized it. i bought cause i lost like 4 tbs of games cause my win 11 pc with 2 wd drives suddenly stopped working after a new windows update. but im glad i brought cause i got rid of 2 drives,and i got 13 tb of storage. so i downloaded 5 tb of PC games and still got about 8+ tb of space left. it is also the fastest had i ever had cause it downloads more faster then any had i owned along with my 1 gb speed internet. it downloaded a 139 gb in about 40-45 mins, another great thing is it has its own power so your system power it not affected. its just a good solid hd so it gets 5 stars from me, and my PC storage will last a lifetime for me. a good buy and 5 stars.

It’s perfectly okay. As for storage capacity, it is great…so long as you are just storing files and whatever. If you plan on storing movies onto the device, have something else to transfer them onto before deciding to watch because, otherwise, your movies will just freeze up 5 minutes in. The plug-in is also one of those big, bulky, power adapters all-in-one, so make sure you have enough room to plug it up. Personally, I feel I should’ve gone with something smaller, but otherwise, it’s okay.

Very happy with product
Bought a few months ago, and now writing the review. Holds stable data and no data loss or any problems, has been running non stop and no over heating. When I get it full will be looking for another one or a larger one, this one will be on my list for a re-buy

So far, excellent value!
Just picked up the drive. Mine contains a WD Ultrastor drive inside, 7200 RPM, 14 TB (12.7 when formatted, ignore what the listing says!) Tested with GSmartControl to verify internal drive and capacicity, also did a short self-test which completed without error.At this point it’s brand new, but I’m assuming it will live up to WD’s standards for reliability.Am copying 26 GB of photos over to it, estimated 24 minutes – speed increases greatly when copying one large file versus several small ones.

This drive works well in Windows and performs very well in Ubuntu, too. It has an on/off switch that allows a more safe start. Its 14 TB storage capacity has a very good quality-price balance. I totally recommend this product.

It works
So far so good. I have this for a couple of weeks and is working fine. I install pc games on it and no issues with games or the storage. Only time will tell how long will last but it was a good deal for the price.
