Fabulous, Full, Fake Ficus!
I was kind of hesitant to order this fake ficus tree as most artificial plants look fake. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I opened the box. It came in three (3) separate pieces which were very easy to put together. Each piece was wrapped inside a plastic bag. I did notice an unpleasant odor when I removed the plastic. It wasn’t horrible,but I did take it outside to air out for about an hour. The smell was gone. I shook each of the branches before inserting them into the tree stalk. Not one leaf came loose or fell off.Fluffing this ficus took some time. There are so many branches, all of them pliable. Even the branches at the bottom can be positioned where you want them. Again, not one leaf came off.My only two negatives are 1-all the leaves are the same size and color. No variation. 2-The pot is way too small for this size plant. I usually put my plants in a large planter anyway but with this one, I had to put a bunch of filler inside to keep it standing. The top of the plant is kind of top heavy, so the base needs to be secure and/or weighted.This ficus is beautiful and the best part…..I can’t kill it! No watering needed. It’s a little pricey but it should last forever. I would definitely recommend one, or two.

RECOMMENDATION:Thumbs up: This is a pretty good looking ficus tree overall; Very full in terms of leaves and branches and the best trunk seam that I have ever reviewed.THE GOOD:1. Good looking tree – much better than average in this price range.2. The branches are all poseable until you get right to the leaves themselves and where they attach. This is a lot better than is what is typically available and allow you to much more easily pose it and fluff it out. The pictures that you see were before we started fluffing the tree out, which took a while because it had so many branches and leaves.3. The truck is quite realistic even though it is fake. This is often a weak part I have noticed for a lot of artificial plants and this vendor did a great job on this.4. Normally where the trunks come together to assemble the tree is a weak spot that looks bad. This tree does so well in this area that it took me several minutes to re-find those seams after I had assembled it so that I could take the pictures for this review. This is the best that I have ever seen in terms of trunk seams.5. Where the leaves attach to the branches is typically the least visually appealing part of any fake tree, but this one does a decent job in this area. The branches definitely look fake under very close inspection, but from 3’ or more they look quite realistic.THE BAD:1. Because of the pot’s small size, the overall tree is not terribly stable, but this is very typical for fake trees. You will want to place it into a larger and more stable pot, possibly with landscaping river stones, which is what we do.2. The leaves look better on their top than they do on their bottom, which is also typical. The vendor says these are silk, but that is not true. In fact, I have never seen a true silk plant on Amazon. The chinese that list these products seem to think that silk means a fake plant only, and of course that is not accurate. The realism of the leaves overall is actually pretty good – somewhere between a ‘B+’ and an ‘A-‘.

Realistic and Well Priced
This is among the best artificial plants I have ever purchased, and I’ve spent some big dollars on them. It takes a little time and care assemble then “fluff” it out, but once done it is a beautiful and healthy-looking Ficus. The leaves and trunks are realistic. The included pot is lightweight and too small.If you don’t already have a pot that’s ~12-18in across and ~16-20in tall you might want to order one with the tree.Anyway, this Ficus is a very good bargain that competes well with others that are twice the price.
