Great camera for a great price
I’ve been using this camera for several months now.Essentially no time to set up. You attach it to the wall, it starts charging and if you already have the base, then it takes just a few minutes to link it to the base.I ended up attaching it to the gutter because I didn’t want to drill any holes. I already had 2 other aosu cameras for the front of the house and put this one on the corner to take advantage of 360 capability.You do have to buy a memory card separately or sign up for cloud storage. I opted for the memory card. This way it’s no monthly payments.You can talk through the camera, it tracks motion pretty well, has a fixed angle where it would start scanning and track movement (it does not just rotate non stop).Great product overall, would buy again.

VERY EASY SET UP AND OPERATION
Below is a copy of the review I sent to the manufacture just after installation. This review is after 4 days of operation and the motion detection sensitivity is excellent and the low light video is great. It effortlessly moves its full range of camera angle and is a smooth rolling video with no jerky frames. My WiFi for one of the cameras is the farthest distance from my WiFi and connects and stays connected great. I have had 3 out of 4 rainy days and the solar power remains above 95%. I never have to touch it except to remove the storage card if needed. Very satisfied so far!Here is the review I sent to AOSUI believe when you are very happy with a product, you should communicate that satisfaction in the same manner as if you are not happy with a product. Which either way in my opinion, is beneficial to the company as well as future customers. As a senior citizen I need things to not require a lot of tech abilities and know how. Setting up these cameras, (I bought two) from unboxing to on the sides of my house took one hour. The App is simple to use and the instructions included how to install the memory card and the location of reset/power buttons, are shown with a picture. The operation is easy as they are solar powered and the security effective for a very reasonable price.

Cameras and customer service are top quality
I ordered 2 of these cameras on June 16th, 2024. Cameras work great and I had no issues with them. Video quality is great and the motion detection with tracking is also great. Almost a year later, at the end of May 2025, one of the cameras would rotate to the left and would get stuck. I contacted the support team, but was unable to problem solve the issue. They sent sent me out a new camera that arrived within a couple days and gave me an extra 6 month warranty. I have been nothing but pleased with the quality of the cameras and the customer service. You won’t regret purchasing one of these cameras.

UPDATE… While I must still caution that in my situation, I have not been able to get this camera to accurately report movement on my property, particularly that of vehicles. And, since this was my primary need, I must still review the camera as “unreliable”. However, I do wish to applaud their customer service. They have gone to great lengths to assist me, and have made efforts to make things right. Still, I would caution anyone wishing to try the camera… Go ahead and see if it works for you. Just be ready to return the camera within the specified period. I do like the ease of set up, and the solar power. Again, just make sure that the camera serves your needs.CAUTION!!! I bought a couple of these to help keep an eye on our property after some recent break-ins in our area. I knew that with all of the settings that these cameras offer, some patience and tweaking would be required, so I haven’t been quick to write a review. But, today was the last straw. After one of the cameras seemed to do a good job yesterday, picking up all the comings and goings nicely, today the same camera took the day off. I have driven from the property and returned. Plus, I’ve had a delivery to the property. NONE of which was picked up by the camera. At this point I am frustrated with the camera and CANNOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. It was easy to set up, and it does maintain it’s charge well. BUT, my primary purpose in purchasing the cameras was to know who comes and goes. After much tweaking, and a lot of patience, I cannot tell anyone that it’s going to do that for you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Good product, great customer support.
Let me start off by saying that after about 3 months, our camera failed to stay connected to wifi and a full battery would discharge in about 48hrs. Several months after the Amazon return window had closed, I reached out to Aosu customer support via their website. Within 2 days, I had a replacement camera arrive at my door. No hassle, no return labels, just a company that takes care of their customers.I spent a long time researching all sorts of security cameras for our new home, and eventually landed on Aosu because of both their features and their wonderful customer reviews. I am certainly not disappointed, and we have 3 cameras that cover pretty much all areas of our home exterior. The cameras are responsive and customizable, which is great because different areas of your home have different security needs. The cameras distinguish between a vehicle pulling into my driveway or a person walking up to deliver a package, which I didn’t realize would be such a useful and helpful feature when looking at notifications. The picture quality is great, even though the camera is not near a router. Several of our friends have purchased Aosu cameras by our recommendation, and they love them just as much. If you’re torn between these cameras and another brand like Eufy, Blink or Ring, all I can say is don’t waste your time with them and give Aosu a try.

Parfaite !!!!Livraison sans difficultéInstallation facile (tout est inclus, vis, cheville, autocollant pour prévenir de la caméra, gabarit pour le perçage, notice en français, cable de charge usb c,etc…)3 trous dans le mur et hop le support est en place, la caméra se clip sur le support.Le logiciel à télécharger fonctionne bien.La caméra diffuse le son extérieur.La connexion en wifi est simpleElle suit le sujet qu’elle a détecté.Je recommande à tous ce produit.Tant que je ne mettrais pas d’autre commentaire c’est que la caméra fonctionne toujours.Je suis très satisfait !!!

Updated review 27-01-2025:Aosu support contacted me and offered a replacement camera which is now in place and working perfectly fine, The solar charging is now working great so suspect a faulty solar panel or charge circuit.Great support from Aosu and the camera is just brilliant for keeping an eye on my back door so I have now updated my rating back to the 5 stars the device is worthy of receiving.Only improvement I would like to see is a base unit that stores the images,video captures like the doorbell camera does, Aosu do sell this with a 2 camera kit but its a little pricey.Also a secure way of fitting the camera to the bracket, maybe an allen key to screw it in place as its very easy to just pop off the bracket and be taken away by an intruder, without the cloud or internal storage you won’t have any images or video of the intrusion.Camera is simple to install due to no wires and been solar powered. Had a small issue after installation where the solar didn’t say it was charging but then a bright day it popped up in the app and constantly trickle charged the battery keeping it well topped up.Functions and features are great, tracking with light and siren work great or just light function on detection. Keeps an eye on my back door and notifications when anyone comes into range.Small issue after 5 months with the solar charging stopping working again and just constantly discharges now even though it says its charging it never dose anymore. Checked the solar panel and there is no damage, nothing to stop the charging function.Battery is still good and lasts a while just not ideal having to take camera down to charge via USB which does work great and charges pretty quickly.Aosu support were great 1st time I needed support but lacking lately (maybe due to holidays). Sent in requested information but heard nothing since.Have the doorbell and internal camera, all are brilliant just a shame the solar charging on this has failed, all 3 cameras available in the same phone app with multiview available but only for a short while as 2 camera are battery only.Gave 3 stars as expected the solar to last longer and having to remove to charge is a major annoyance.

Seconda videocamera identica che acquisto, la prima l’ho resa. Dopo la prima che ho reso, pensavo fosse un caso. Ho provato ad acquistarne un’altra. Dopo due settimane stesso identico problema, incredibile. Si sconnette e ci vuole 1 ora per venirne a capo. Il router va riavviato in continuazione perché la telecamera non vede la rete wifi. Router che sta a 4 metri, fibra.Aggiunta dopo che mi ha contattato il servizio clienti:Mi hanno contattato e mi hanno spedito una nuova telecamera, spero che questa vada meglio.Quindi non posso che mettere 5 stelle per il servizio clienti AOSU che è veramente impeccabile.
