I rated this 5/5 because I can’t rate it a 6. Honestly, if you’re shopping for tech for college, I think this is the second or third purchase after your computer. Computer, then mouse, then either this product followed by a keyboard (tech and stem majors) or a keyboard followed by a this product (humanities or social science majors, because you’re typing a lot of papers).Purchased for son who is a commuter CC student now and will be in 4 yr college next year. With textbooks being online, a dual monitor setup is a great idea (textbook on this screen, homework on the main screen), and being able to bring a full setup in your backpack to study is really good. Also, being able to duplicate your screen and flip this one around for the people on the other side of the table is really good for collaborating with your lab group. Finally, studying in a library has some advantages over studying in a dorm, and having this mitigates the library’s disadvantage of not having multi-monitor support.Having a screen the same size as your laptop makes it easy to pack and carry. Resolution of 1080 is fine — more raises the price, but not the value (because you probably don’t have the video cards for great video in a mobile setup). It’s everything you need and nothing you don’t.

I was skeptical at first. However, this product is amazing. If you are like me, you may be wondering if this is a real post or one generated by AI or the selling company. Totally real! The cool thing is that my wife and I cN take this on trips in our RV. She can sit on one side of the table connected to one screen and me on the other with the monitors folded in an upside down V, like this: ^We will see how long the screens and hinge holds up.-E

Use this when I work on the go or at home, the case is alittle tricky to set up and be stable. The plug in cable is alittle short than I would prefer but not a deal breaker. The monitor is clear and works good.

Great for travel!
I work remotely quite often and having dual monitors makes my job much easier. When I travel, it is not worth it too bring my home monitors. So I purchased this and have been extremely happy with it. It is super easy to use and does not draw much power (important if you’re working away from a direct power source !). The brightness of the screen is excellent. My only complaint is that you do have to readjust the brightness each time you reconnect the monitor. But it’s very easy to do so it’s not really a big deal for me. The quality far exceeds the price you would certainly expect a higher price for this quality. I have been using the monitor for almost a year now and have been very happy with it.

Very Nice
Got this for my Office Surface Pro. When traveling this sure make for a great second screen. I have had this for several months now and no issues at all. Very happy with it and how it performs. Not as nice as the monitors I have at home but great for a travel second screen. Fits nicely in my computer bag, next to my Surface.

This monitor is perfect, it connects seamlessly, looks sharp. I used to carry a cord with me and try to connect to hotel tv for extra monitor when traveling for work. Now I can have a dual monitor so quickly and easily and it’s of the same quality screen as my laptop is. They give you all the cords options you need so nothing more to buy.
