Functions fine, but best for straight-on viewing
We needed a TV for a small space in our motor home and this 17-inch model was the perfect size. Not easy to find, I should add. The picture quality doesn’t measure up to an expensive TV, nor did we expect it. However, we discovered that when we viewed the TV at an angle looking up from below, the picture becomes dark and difficult to view. We tilted the TV downward so that we were viewing it straight on instead of at an angle and it works fine. Good enough for our purposes. But if you are planning on installing this in a location where you don’t have the option to view it straight on, you may be unhappy. The remote control works great, and the TV comes with a number of extras like an over-the-air antenna and a table-top stand that we are not using in our application.

Perfect for camping
I purchased this for the sole purpose of having something to entertain the grandchildren in the camper on a rainy day and it has come to be invaluable.It fits perfectly in the laptop cary case of your choice. I have the t.v., the cords, and I purchased a small DVD player that fits in the cary case too, along with a handful of movies. It’s like instant movie night while camping. Just ad popcorn.I was also able to pick up local stations with the provided antenna to watch the news in some locations but not everywhere. It just depends on where you are. Really though, with the added mini DVD player it’s been a life saver.Picture quality is good and it is pretty easy to set up, tear down and pack away until needed again. I’m happy that I bought it.

Broke after 1 Use and No way to Contact Support
We purchased this to use at trade shows b/c it is small and easy to travel with. We also liked that you can play videos off a flash drive. The first time we used it, the picture wasn’t the greatest, but we made do. We went to use it at the 2nd trade show and we can’t get it to work at all. Very disappointing since this TV was not cheap and to add to the frustration there isn’t any customer service to contact.

Well, it’s Chinese
I just hate having to buy Chinese, but what choices do you really have? This 17″ is branded “Othoig”. Never heard of it? That’s a surprise. There’s no support website, though they do give a “Contact us” email. As for the TV, it’s not bad for the price you pay. The pieces fit together well (there are no directions) and it actually feels pretty solid. The picture is OK and it takes my ROKU, so I can travel with it. The antenna is essentially useless, but, no problem, I just stream anyhow. BTW, this is not internet capable without a ROKU or other similar device. All the pieces were there and packaged well. So, overall, 3 stars.

Picture perfect 👌
This little TV has a great picture and uses very little power. Great for off the grid use.It does require a fairly straight on line of view, but it’s not intended for a ballroom.
