Easy to install/operate/very nice features, functionality, image and construction at a decent price.
I have only had this device for a week but so far I am very happy with it. This is my first digital door viewer so I didn’t want to spend too much money on it, but I wanted it to integrate with my other home automations and I didn’t want to have to regularly buy new batteries. As far as I can tell it does everything that higher priced viewers do at a very reasonable price.INSTALLATION: Installation was very simple. I just unscrewed the old peephole lens and inserted the digital camera in it’s place and secured it to the inside mounting bracket with two screws (included with the item). As soon as I connected the camera to the screen and snapped the screen onto the bracket and pressed the button, I got a nice, crisp image of the entrance, good enough to look at and recognize anyone from a comfortable distance (no more crouching to look through a peephole). I use the Smart Life (Tuya) app and it instantly recognized the new device and read the QR code and was ready to go in minutes.IMAGE QUALITY: The view is crisp and clear in HD mode and wider than I expected. Much wider than the original peephole it replaced. It is also brighter and easier to see day or night, with ambient or artificial light. And I love that I can check to see who is there from my cellphone, without having to go to the door (or even be at home). The image itself has a little fish-eye effect around the edges, but that’s okay and the usual trade-off for a wider viewing angle. Screen displays include battery, wifi signal and definition status, and a date and time stamp.RECORDING: I’m not using a memory card (yet) so it’s all live. But I understand the device will store images and video when movement is detected or the device is used to capture an image, which I can still do manually on my phone device.RESPONSE TIME: It takes a few seconds for an image to appear on the phone but that’s the usual lag you can expect when viewing through a wifi network. The door monitor screen is much quicker, of course, and responds almost instantly when the view button is pressed.DETECTION: The activation button on the display screen will light up when someone stands near the door. So the sensors work fine. So does the IR light for viewing in low-light conditions.SOUND: Sound quality is not very good, probably because the door is too far away from the mesh (76% signal) but I don’t care so I have the sound muted. I can always go to the door if I need to talk to them. Or I suppose I can improve my wifi systems to use this feature.BATTERY: I have an outlet near the door and the supplied USB charging cable is long enough to reach the device so I don’t have to dismount the screen and disconnect the camera to recharge the device. Which is a huge unexpected bonus that isn’t mentioned in the item descriptions or other reviews. The battery should last for at least a few months but I haven’t had it that long so we’ll see. But not having to dismount and disconnect the device to charge it is a major plus for me. In this application, I think battery is better than wired since the device will continue to work even during power outages.APPEARANCE: The device seems to be well made and has a nice solid feel to it. It looks pretty much like what you would expect from hanging a display screen on your door. There are nicer looking models but they are more expensive without really having much more to offer in features—and I don’t really care about that too much since functionality is more important to me than looks. The outside lens is inconspicuous enough to be almost identical to the original (visual) peephole it replaced. (See photos below.)Photo #1 is the display screen on the inside of my door. I pressed the view button for the photograph to show what the active view looks like. (I live in an end-apartment so my door faces the hallway.) The fish-eye effect is only noticeable on the edge of the display. The actual quality of the image is much better, and in full color, than what is shown here, that is due to photographing a digital screen with a digital camera and can’t be helped. Just know that the image is very nice and much better than this photo shows. The scope, depth, and coverage are accurately shown.Photo #2 is the outside lens in passive/stand-by mode. You can’t really tell that it is actually a camera unless you know what to look for. Otherwise, it is almost identical to the visual (non-digital) peephole viewer that it replaced.Photo #3 is the outside lens in active/detection mode. The three red lights are only visible with a digital camera. That is what is shown here. These are the detection sensors and IR lights used for low-light viewing. Otherwise, they are totally invisible to the human eye.RECOMMEND: Yes, I would 100% recommend this device.NOTE: This is my initial review. I usually update my reviews after a year of using the device. I remove this note whenever I do that.

La grabación no funciona bien
El producto por más que se le pone grabación continua graba en diferentes momentos no se identifica cuando graba y cuando no, se tiene una micro de 256gb y no se sabe cómo se puede grabar

Works Great – Good Battery So Far
I know a lot of this Chinese stuff with the funny names is often a toss up. This thing works pretty well actually and seems to have a good battery life. There are several of these on here all branded under various odd sounding names. Works halfway decent with the TUYA app. Pretty easy install, especially if you already have a people drilled out in your door I would recommend.

Easier to see who’s at door, pretty easy install
I like this door peephole camera. It’s easier to view at the door on its screen, and can be checked from the phone. Smart actions can’t seem to trigger off this, so no turning on lights, sounding a chime, etc. when someone walks up to the door unfortunately. Installation was pretty simple, though it lacks the tool to remove old peephole ring (I used pliers). The biggest issue was with a screen door, which had a significant effect on picture quality, and made IR Night vision hazy because the screen reflects a lot. Turning off IR night vision helps, and with an automatic porch light is acceptable. A glass door in front would likely also cause problems with IR night vision due to reflections, with the same solution of turning IR off.Picture is decent in day. IR vision at night is easy to see. With IR turned off things are dark; this doesn’t have “starlight” color as some cameras do. Resolution does seem to be full 1080p. Not that wide-angle, maybe 90° horizontal and 60° vertical.Live view works decently. Takes about 15 seconds for app to open live view, less than a second on display unit. Audio has some choppiness to it (as to recordings). Sound isn’t that loud on porch as speaker is on display on other side of door.Memory card recording is OK. I could only get it to record on motion when human detection was enabled, or continuous. Timeline is pretty basic, and navigation isn’t great (there’s no list of events, just timeline).Motion detection is good, with sensitivity. Notification comes up within a few seconds in app. Human detection ignores other motion so few false alarms (no subscription required). Seems to only have PIR, no radar. Has scheduling to ignore during scheduled times.Tuya/Smart Life is decent, and used by tons of smart products so it’s not some other obscure app used by only one product.Minor issues:- Not wide-angle view. Can’t see people’s hands.- Memory card recording browsing isn’t great.- Slight audio glitchiness in live and recordings.

Almost a good product
I really wanted to like this peephole camera. The install was fairly simple, although the directions are not entirely understandable. The camera is pretty good, with a clear picture. Both night and day work well. The problems are motion detection is extremely slow, notifications are not displayed, and it does not stay connected to Wi-Fi; which defeats the purpose of protection and awareness of who is approaching your door. Also, you have to pay $19 a month to receive SMS notifications and a separate price for phone calls. My in home camera does all of this for free so, this particular peephole camera is a waste of time and money! Go with another brand, preferably one that does not use the Tuya Smart App. Returning!!!

Black and white, not color
The picture/video is black and white, not color. It is a very poor quality as well.
