The key is super flimsy, and you have to REALLY jiggle it to even get it to unlock.Makes it a bigger hassle to use the lock mechanism at all, which is the whole point of these locks.

Design is on the right track but lacking
I have a full grown kiddo with a disability who will raid the fridge at all hours and eat and eat and eat. I needed a lock to keep him from doing this. I love the simplicity of the design and gosh this would have worked really well if it wasn’t a bit chintzy. You pull hard enough and it comes apart. Great lock for littles, but not good for adults.

These are are great. We used them on our RV fridge that constantly popped open when traveling. They worked well, and it’s great that they don’t relock. They stay in place, so there are no parts to keep track of. We’ve now added then to cabinets so they stay closed on bumpy roads.
