Great Camera, because it has two cameras in one there is no need to have it tracking continuously. I watch mom in her room as she has Alzheimer, the app alerts us is she is trying to get up from her bed at night or from her chair while watching TV. I keep the fix lens pointing to her bed, the other camera pointing to the table where she eats, I adjusted both cameras so when the screen showing of the fix ends the other one starts, so I have full room coverage. I took of tracking because the camera gets confused with the TV image and starts moving everywhere thinking it bis a subject to track. Nevertheless, I can save favorite locations for the camera and with a touch the camera rotates where I want quick. Connection to my wifi is super-fast. The favorite locations I check once a week because somehow once in a while it points to the save location but sometimes the exact location moves a bit to one side of the other so I just move the camera controls until it reaches what I want and update the favorite, no big deal, I check once a week to make sure still the same. I also subscribed (not expensive, like $3 a month) to one of the cloud plans, it is worth it as the sd card only saves a portion of the movement unless you set it to 24 hrs recording. The cloud storage helps me determine the times she gets up at night and walks in her room if I am sleeping, that way I know if she had a good sleep or not, that way I can put her to bed early or later on. She had a fall once and the camera alert us of the movement, we looked at the video saved in the cloud and ran to her room to help her get up, thanks God it was just a few scratches, and we can see in the video saved that she did not hit her head and how the fall was. The camera is a life saver. I have to in her room, two different brands in case one fails we have the other running but out of both this one is much better and faster connection. The router is in our Livingroom, 25 feet away, even with her door close there is no connection issues. It has a two-way radio, a light that you can turn on and off from the phone app, alerts to your phone no matter if you are home or not and an alarm if you want it to sound when it detects movement, we have one set up also at the entrance door of the apartment, if anyone exits or enters the loud alarm goes off. Night vision is great, but you have to set it on the app, if you don’t default is color and the light will turn on if movement, I turn the light off and set it to black and white, meaning day time is in color and night time uses infrared lights and shows a clear image in black and white even if it is pitch black.

Their customer service is a standout. The representative who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I didn’t rant or complain, just approached the situation calmly, and they rewarded my patience with exceptional service. I believe this company genuinely cares about its customers and their experience. For larger orders or specific needs, I’d recommend reaching out to them ahead of time—they’re willing to accommodate as best they can.As for the product itself, I’ve purchased two cameras so far. The first one had a minor issue after installation—it started showing odd white orbs at night, which looked like a scene from Ghostbusters! (Yes, it was kind of funny, but also frustrating.) GUOANVISION replaced it promptly without hassle. The replacement camera has been working perfectly for over a month now. It has excellent night vision, and the motion tracking feature is very responsive, smoothly following moving objects. The dual-camera setup provides a wider, more detailed view of the area, which is a huge plus.Another feature I appreciate is the storage options. While the camera has a micro SD slot, I opted for their online storage plan as a backup. It’s reasonably priced and provides peace of mind—if someone ever steals the camera, the footage is still secure.In terms of build quality, the camera feels sturdy and well-made. Do your homework.
There is no support after the sale. I have not been able to link up the cameras to the app at all, I have tried to get support which by the way is not based in the states and neither is it live support. I have received no responses and the app does not provide live support. It is sad that when you purchase something based on the features you wanted and then get the item and cant use it because of inferior app support or just poor customer service platform. I am not a happy customer, not happy with product due to technical issues with software and support and unless you have all the time in the world and the patience to troubleshoot on your own with no manufacturer support then it is worth every penny but if you are busy and just want to plug and play then I suggest paying a little extra for something with US based support that has live agents to help with issues.Beyond the connection issues and such it was easy to install and it does work as a stand alone device providing that you are willing to retrieve the SD card and view it outside of the app.
