THE PRICE IS EXCEPTIONAL FOR THE FEATURES, POWER AND SIZE
I have been using the Galanz Microwave Oven ExpressWave for 3 weeks. So far there is 1 negative featureand minor to me: there is no way to turn off the buzzer.Now the good: A mug with a handle comes back to the starting position on all cook time settings in 10 sec time increments. This is convenient with less chance of spills. The center knob sets cook times FAST. It has Inverter Technology: heating and thorough cooking is excellent There is an automatic fan when too much moisture fills the oven. The unit is quiet compared to my past microwaves. Last, the price is the best for the features and size (1.6 cu inches).

Pleased with this Microwave so far
A lot of complaints about this microwave and I was very hesitant to make the purchase. FYI I purchased a Panasonic (1250 watts) and returned it due to the screaming noise it made. This Galanz has 1,100 watts and inverter tech. Size is good. Reasonably quiet, acceptable. Door opens and closes easily and its knob and buttons do everything I need it to do. As long as it holds up I’ll be a happy owner. Time will tell. Good luck going nuts over which one to buy.

No number pad for exact timing.
Note that this product does not provide a number pad for entry of precise seconds of cooking. Instead, all times are entered in tens of seconds by dialing upwards and downwards. Compared to models with a keypad, this can take a few more seconds each time to dial the amount in. Also, the interior light is dim, perhaps not even an LED type, so it is a little difficult to see what’s inside when the door is closed while in operation. If not an LED, it might burn out eventually. Otherwise, the product seems to be of good quality in construction and function. The instructions are well-written and easy to follow.

Faulty Door Interlock Switch
Hello, I purchased this Microwave less than 2 years of use & the door interlock switch no longer works properly, now causing a short & breaker to trip damgerous. I saved money to buy it & didn’t start using it for 3 months after purchase cause I painted cabinet & waited to fine a microwave cart at a reasonable price so it’s only been in use about 22 months. I will never purchase this brand again sad part it took a few months to save to buy it. Manufacturers don’t think about the fact not everyone can instantly buy. Many people have to budget to purchase & it’s not bcz we don’t work just don’t make enough for extras. I could have probably spent much less on another brand would hace lasted as long. Wish I knew of a way to file a formal complaint because had it not been for breaker safety in tripping & turning power off it could have caused a fire.

Nice Microwave
At first the Galanz microwave seemed cheaply made. Compared to my old Maytag, it’s very light weight. But, after using it for a about 4 months, I’ve come to appreciate how it cooks.I replaced same for same. I had an 1100w Maytag oven and I bought the Galanz 1100w oven. I’d have preferred the larger oven, but didn’t have the space.This oven cooks in about 2/3 of the time than the old Maytag, but with very notable differences.The weight defrost does a great job and is very accurate. The Maytag always over heated the outside edges, cooking meats, while leaving the center icy. The Galanz does neither. When defrosting 1 pound of meat, it comes out totally defrosted, with NO cooked areas.The potato setting is also very accurate. I weigh the potato(s) before cooking it/them, entering the total weight in ounces. My husband loves baked potatoes, sometimes eating one for lunch. I’ve cooked monster sized potatoes and small; every one comes out perfectly cooked (without turning over), never overcooked.I’ve reheated using the sensor reheat, and everything comes out properly reheated, without a cool center, or over cooked outside. I’ve sensor cooked certain things and have achieved properly cooked good, without over cooking.I knew from other reviews that the light isn’t very bright, but that’s inconsequential. The microwave cooks accurately without the requirement to constantly watch.The interior is very easy to clean. Nothing sticks to it.The microwave is a very good buy and every function I’ve used works perfectly.

I’m happy with the dial
I’ve got fat sausage fingers and the dial helps make it easier for me to quickly set a time on the microwave. Other microwaves with those membrane buttons never work well for me. The only disadvantage I could mention for this microwave is that the interior lighting is a bit dim. I don’t know if that’s because the bulb isn’t bright enough or because the interior is a dark color which absorbs the light. If the sun is shining in the kitchen and I’m using this microwave it’s sometimes difficult for me to see inside while it’s in use. Still, I would fully recommend this purchase.

Me gustó la perilla que en cada giro que das va aumentando gradualmente el tiempo 30 segundos, es bastante amplio, se ve elegante, puede ser que mi cocina tenga mucha iluminación natural y por eso noto que la iluminación de los números en el display es muy tenue para ver durante el día, pero de noche se ve bien.en general lo considero un buen producto que vale mucho la pena comprar. estoy satisfecha
