It’s ok, but overpriced…
This is definitely built for fairly small plants. I knew the dimensions when I bought it, yet having it in-person always puts it in real perspective. Fairly easy to put together; all parts were included and instructions were vague but fine (think pictures). The bar for one of the stands was pretty bent and the metal is quite scratched up even though it appeared to be packaged well with bubble wrap, foam, etc. Once completed, yessss I was able to fix the bar with some significant force, she’s quite wobbly as the left side doesn’t sit flat. I don’t like that the top stand isn’t set to sit like a diamond, as it sits square so you’re not about able to put this into a corner completely – it sticks out. The lights are bright and I appreciate the timer ability, hopefully they work well and my plants thrive. Efforts to fix issues (gotta figure out the wobble still), nicks in the “wood,” and other quality control issues equates to a product that is worth maybe half the current cost I paid.

Design is fine, the build is not
The very first thing I noticed is that the base has 2 pieces that must be attached. I have no idea of why a manufacturer would choose to do this. If you look at the photo on the left it is blatantly obvious that there is a 2-piece base. When I saw this I was tempted to return it.I’ve put together a lot of flat pack furniture, and the directions are less than optimal. However, the worst part of these directions is basically having nothing to tell you where on the underside you were to stick the lights on the top 3 pieces and there is no way to see how you are to conceal the wiring, although they do provide thin black zip ties. The picture in the Amazon listing shows no zip ties anywhere! I cut 1 inch strips of black duct tape to conceal most of the wiring.Once assembled it is fairly nice looking, and the metal frame is solid.Usually, the manufacturer has contact information included to enable the purchaser to get replacement parts. There was none included, which means the purchaser has no way to order a new light assembly if the one sent with their stand ever stops working.Supposedly you will have everything you need for the assembly. However, if you get some stubborn slide-together pieces, like I did, you will need to comandeer a very strong person, or a rubber mallet. I don’t know why there are 2 screws in each bar of the pieces I had to pound together, because without the screws it would still be very difficult to get these pieces apart.If you look at the second picture where I had to remove an alphabetic sticker denoting the part. This unit has 7 shelves and I had to get sticker residue off of 4 of them. I am hoping to find something that actually removes the gum. Even the numeric stickers on the metal pieces were very hard to remove, although they did not leave a residue.
