Good filament for the money
Cheap filament is always a gamble. This stuff is a winner. I’ve bought half a dozen spools over the last two years and the results are consistent. No surprises. It is good and the price is low. No clogs, no breaks. Sticks well to my PEI build plate and comes off too. I use a Prusa Mk3 and a Creality Ender 3 pro. I sell about a dozen prints per month so there are extra demands for reliability, consistency and price on my printers and filament. I’m a small timer but I still need a good deal of predictability and consistency. I’ve used the same printer setting for two years now and I get the same results. I am at the point of my micro business that I want to just print and ship as needed. Any headaches dilute my hourly income.I’ve gone cheaper on Amazon with spools costing just two dollars less and I’ve gotten into trouble. This is about the right price and quality level for me.

Bright White Color
I was running low on white filament from my normal brand and while I waited for that shipment to arrive I decided I wanted to try this Sunlu PLA+ in white. I’ve used Sunlu filament before and it has always been great. This filament was the same. Prints turned out great, minimal to no layer lines. I didn’t have any bed adhesion issues while using it on a standard textured PEI plate. I used a generic pla profile. I didn’t have any issues with clogging but I try to keep filament dry to prevent that.This filament is more of a bright white or cool white color. It is not a yellow or warm white. It is a couple of shades brighter white than the standard white from Anycubic, it’s not an immediately noticeable difference but it is noticeable.

🛠 Maker-Focused 🛠
I’ve been trying out a bunch of different filaments recently, and SUNLU’s Black PLA+ has quickly become one of my go-to favorites. It’s a deep, rich black with a smooth crisp finish that gives prints a clean, professional look—perfect for functional parts or sleek aesthetic builds. I recently printed an AMS riser and plate holder using this and the Sunny Orange PLA+, and the black really helped give the final piece a sharp, polished contrast.What really makes this filament stand out, though, is its strength and durability. Compared to standard PLA, this PLA+ has a noticeably tougher feel to it. It’s great when you need parts that are both precise and can handle a bit more stress.Printing was super smooth—no jams, no weird stringing, and it laid down evenly right from the first layer. I found that running it at around 205–215°C on the nozzle and 50–60°C on the bed gave me excellent adhesion and a nice, clean finish.Overall, SUNLU’s Black PLA+ delivers on both performance and appearance. It’s solid, consistent, and prints like a dream. If you’re looking for a reliable black filament that just works, I’d absolutely recommend this one.

I like this brand a lot, it seems to work well and the colors are accurate to the pictures on amazon. The quality is great, excellent adhesion and printing is good. Minimal stringing too. I have only had issues with one type of filament from SunLu but they have always been consistent. The packaging was sealed properly and filaments were dry

Almost perfect.
Sunlu filament has been getting better and better. The 2.0 variant always gives me perfect prints. So why am I giving it four stars instead of five? Their spoolIs not reliable in the Bambu AMS, so every time I get a spool I have to spin it onto a reusable Bambu spool before using it. If you don’t have a Bambu, or if you do but don’t use an AMS, I’d give it five stars instead. All that said, I still buy it, even if I have to spend five minutes with a Pastamatic to spin it onto a Bambu spool. It’s worth the pain.

I’ve used several brands of filament over the years, and SUNLU has quickly become one of my favorites. The filament prints super smoothly with very few issues—no clogs, tangles, or inconsistent layers. The quality is consistent spool after spool, and the colors are vibrant and true to what’s shown online. It also adheres well to the bed and has minimal stringing, which saves a lot of post-processing time. This has been my go-to for a while.I am one of the lucky few who lives near a Micro Center and was using their Inland filament, which I really enjoyed. Once I found out Sunlu makes some of the Inland filament, I made the switch due to pricing. Can typically find good deals here on Amazon or directly on Sunlu’s website.Print quality with this is great with very minimal stringing (user error mostly). Using a PEI plate and ~190 nozzle, bed adhesion is a no issue. Some color choices seems a little off when printed but that isn’t an issue for me. The surface texture and look of a completed print isn’t shiny but its not super matte either.I have printed the (in)famous articulated dragons for my 3yo… if anyone with kids around this age knows, they are not exactly gentle. The prints have held up, nothing broken, color still the same as a freshly completed print, etc.So far, drying hasn’t been needed if I order a fresh spool. I can open and run a print. I do keep the spool in an enclosure so if you plan on leaving it out, especially for longer periods, typical PLA drying time would be suggested.I am extremely happy with Sunlu’s PLA 2.0 + filament and still recommend this to anyone looking for a deal.

Filament porażka. Wydruki wychodzą bardzo dobrze zaraz po otwarciu szpuli niestety po kilku dniach filament się łamie i zapycha AMS – niezależnie od koloru o typu AMS ( Lite, Pro 2, standard ). Po przetkaniu rurek i usunięciu ok 2m dalej drukuje dobrze i ponownie po krótkiej przerwie łamie się. Szkoda czasu i pieniędzy…

Ho acquistato questo filamento SUNLU PLA+ per utilizzarlo con le mie due stampanti 3D, una Anycubic Kobra 3 e una Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo. Cercavo un materiale con le caratteristiche migliorate tipiche del PLA+, come maggiore robustezza e durabilità, ma speravo anche che fosse semplice da configurare.La vera sorpresa è stata proprio la facilità d’uso. Temevo di dover fare diverse prove per trovare i parametri ideali, ma ho scoperto che potevo semplicemente utilizzare il profilo predefinito “Anycubic PLA Basic” presente nel mio software slicer, lo stesso che uso per il PLA standard di Anycubic. Incredibilmente, questo profilo ha funzionato alla perfezione fin da subito con il SUNLU PLA+ su entrambe le mie stampanti, senza alcuna necessità di calibrazione o tuning specifico per questo filamento.La qualità di stampa è risultata eccellente fin dal primo oggetto. Le stampe presentano una finitura superficiale liscia e gradevole, ottima adesione tra i layer e una solidità notevolmente superiore rispetto al PLA standard, proprio come ci si aspetta da un buon PLA+. L’adesione al piatto è stata impeccabile e non ho riscontrato problemi comuni come warping o stringing. L’estrusione è stata costante e affidabile.Sono estremamente soddisfatto di questo SUNLU PLA+. Per chi possiede una Kobra 3, una Kobra S1 Combo, o stampanti simili, questo filamento rappresenta una scelta fantastica che unisce le prestazioni migliorate del PLA+ alla massima semplicità. Il fatto di poter ottenere risultati così buoni utilizzando il profilo base del PLA Anycubic è un vantaggio enorme, che fa risparmiare tempo e fatica. Assolutamente consigliato!
