3 IP cameras installed, Happy & would buy again.(not POE – 12vdc 2amp 110vac power adapter included)
Great price for an outdoor camera that has pan, tilt, and digital zoom. It’s got H.265x hardware accelerated encoding to save space while maintaining smaller filesize, this will also help with the life of your SD card. I highly recommend using the “High Endurance” micro SD cards. (lesson learned – original cards failed after less than 2 months). It’s coming up on a full year since install and hasn’t had too much trouble with these. I installed for family neat 1000 miles away in snowy Buffalo, NY so I haven’t had any on-site support for better than 10 months. My uncle did have to climb a ladder to replace the SD cards. The camera comes with free use of an app (iCSee) for both Apple and Android. They use their Ipads while on WiFi at home and Iphones away from home. I am able to log into the cameras remotely via the Android app. Both app versions have push notification.1 of 3 cameras gives me trouble with the time. Through repeat attempts, it keeps updating the time with the wrong time zone. Not sure if this is individual settings via one app out of the multiple devices used on these cameras. The camera has zones that can be set and humanoid shape detection that seems to be pretty good for triggering motion detection recording and push notification. Our set up includes a continuously recording NVR to archive all captured footage on a 2TB drive so if something happens that isn’t caught by motion detect, we can still review the full capture. I reduced the notification interval to 20 minutes and have the image quality set to the lowest quality to preserve the life of the SD cards.I tried using the power injector and splitters sold on Amazon but that didn’t work consistently. Especially on the long runs. Most POE uses 48v injecting, trying to inject 12v, and splitting it gave me too much voltage drop, and the furthest camera would fail when activating a pan or tilt motor. We ended up running extension cords to the included power adapters close to each camera. There is an option for re-boot device from within the software which I had to use once when one wasn’t showing up on the DVR.This entire set up worked out without having to pay for monthly cloud storage. I would recommend having all devices that record powered by a UPS to lessen the chance of faults from power outages. There are cloud storage trials and purchase options available through the iCSee app. These cameras are ONVIF compatible so I could set up a pre-scheduled pan and tilt tour via the NVR. The largest advantage with the pan and tilt was not being required to climb a ladder when trying to adjust the camera. The app gives you full control over pan, tilt, digital zoom, and 2-way audio options.Customer support has been good and so has Amazon with rapid replacement of 1 camera of which I dropped the power supply from the top of a 16′ ladder.(My bad – explained the situation to Amazon and they had a replacement there is less than 3 days)Update – ordered 4th camera in Sep 2021 to replace one of 3 cameras installed in Dec 2019 that started to intermittently fail, requiring power cycling to restart. It would go for weeks at a time without issue and then drop video output. 2 years outdoors with Buffalo, NY winters and only one of 3 started having issues but still works 95% of the time. So I bought another had it shipped to me in Alabama where I configured it with the same static IP address and credentials as the one it was replacing, loaded a high endurance SD card and sent it to NY. Within minutes of my uncle plugging it up I was able to pull up the video on my phone from AL and aim the camera where they needed it. My Aunt & Uncle are pleased with the cameras and being able to help them remotely has been a blessing.

Horible lag, poor image quality.
Hands down this is the worst P2P PTZ camera I have tried. Long story short… I bought this cam to replace and indoor cam I had outside. Getting it hooked up to the WiFi was an issue. I had to hook it up to a CAT5 cable 1st then add the WiFi password later. Then I had to shorten my WiFI password because the camera would not accept my long password. This forced me to re-enter the new password for all the deices that connected to this router, MAJOR PAIN IN THE REAR!On testing before I mounted it outside, The image quality seemed OK ( not great) and the movements and Mic worked. After I got it mounted up, I wish I would have tested it more thoroughly. The live video lag his TERRIBLE!! I am not joking when i say MAYBE 1-2 FPS. That is simply 1 to 2 images per second. Some times nothing for 5-10 seconds other than a still image. The video playback from the SD card via WiFi to my phone is just as bad. The image quality is not remotely 1080p. My indoor cam I had mounted outside is 720p and looks better.I have 2 routers, both with 2.4ghz capability. I tried my older router. Same problem. My internet is 40Mb/s download and 10Mb/s upload. So the problem with frame-rate and lag is not by equipment or internet.BTW this thing is not remotely weatherproof. The mounting arm is hallow and leads right into the top of the cam. The X-axis and Y-Axis are not sealed either. My indoor cam has just as good a seal as this outdoor cam. Very misleading.Getting to the SD card will be virtually impossible after you mount the cam. There are 2 screws the go in through the top, then the base of the cam pivots away. So unless you have at least 3 inches of room above the cam and lots of dexterity, forget out getting the SD card out without removing the cam from the wall.In the end I got my old indoor cam working that in been outside in winter/snow weather for 6 months. I was shocked it worked like a champ and TG so I can send this piece of junk back. TG for Amazon Prime returns!!

Good Cameras, But Quality Control Issues
I recently purchased these cameras, and overall, I’m satisfied with their performance. The video quality is good, and the app is user-friendly.However, I have a major issue with one of the cameras. Unfortunately, it doesn’t connect to the app, making it completely useless. I’ve tried troubleshooting, but nothing seems to work. It’s disappointing to have a faulty camera, especially since the others work fine. I hope the manufacturer will take steps to improve their quality control. If you’re considering purchasing these cameras, be aware that you might encounter similar issues. However, if you do get a working set, they seem to be good cameras.*Pros:*- Good video quality- User-friendly app*Cons:*- Quality control issues (one camera didn’t work)- Connectivity problems with faulty cameraI would recommend these cameras, but with caution. Make sure to test all the cameras thoroughly before installing them. If you encounter any issues, contact the manufacturer’s support team for assistance.
