Great quality, super light, easy to hold
I just love this camera. For a while I have been using a Sony A7R. I got great images, but I started to have problems with weight due to arthritis in my wrist. I decided to step down a level of sensor size, to get a weight low enough that I would never hesitate to bring it with me. I also initially bought the XT5, but found that it was significantly heavier than the XT50, so I returned that one. The XT50 is a surprisingly good fit to my hands, despite me having really big hands. The raise thumb holder gives me leverage to hold the camera easily. So far, I’ve gotten great images, probably slightly less great than the Sony Full Frame, but close enough that it is easily worth the trade. I was also initially worried that the small joystick would be limiting, but I’ve found it works very well. I wish the XT50 was weather sealed, but I’m OK to give that up for the weight. The controls are really well-laid out (my first time with a Fuji, so maybe they are all good in this way). It’s nice to have a way to rate my pics in camera (the Sony has that, but I didn’t expect it in this Fuji). I’m happy with this lens, which was a great deal if bought with the body — it is likely not as good as the Pro equivalent, but the Pro just adds too much weight. All in all, I’m thrilled. Back to having my camera with me all the time.

Makes even beginner photos look professional.
I spent a lot of time researching a variety of cameras before finally making a purchase. What had me settled on Fujifilm before purchasing was the color range in the photos and specifically the film simulation built into a wide range of their cameras. I was blown away by what this camera was capable of right out of the box. I did end up choosing the x-t50 (a newer model) due to the amount of megapixels I could get out of the sensor, the quality of each photo is extremely high so if you’re looking for extremely crisp photos I couldn’t recommend this camera enough. There are a few things I would recommend to purchase along side this camera for ease of use – first and foremost you’ll need a shutter button to install on the camera or you just have the open thread on the button. Not the end of the world, but it looks odd and leaves room for debris to get stuck in there. I also recommend a thumb grip that’s installed via the hot shoe so you’re not resting your thumb on all the dials and buttons by the shutter button or accidentally touching the screen which might adjust focus or take a photo. The camera DOES have built in flash that works very well so sacrificing the hot-shoe for the grip doesn’t feel like a big loss at all.The lens that come with the kit is MORE than enough to get the job done in a variety of settings and is the cheaper of the two lens kits, but depending on what kind of photography you’d like to do I would definitely do research on this lens kit, the other one (which has a lower focal length I believe for better bokeh backgrounds) and just the body with maybe a third party lens. I am already looking at what other lens attachments I can get, and if you get the just x-t50 body you may have a few extra hundred dollars to spend elsewhere on here for a lens that suits your needs a little better. The camera was shipped quickly and came in great condition, has been a breeze to use and definitely works beautifully. I would recommend to anyone looking at this camera.

    Dream Camera
It’s the size of a Fuji X-t30 ii, but with a better grip, 7 stops of image stabilization, 40mp sensor, film simulation dial, faster processor, and optional charcoal color. I use it only with the Fuji 23mm f2 prime (35mm equivalent). The internal sports finder allows me to see a crop outline in the viewfinder. So a crop can easily become a slightly increased focal length due to 40mp sensor. I don’t recommend 3rd party primes or zooms without f-stops on the lens as it will limit you to EVF viewing only to see your settings The online camera manual is long and extensive, although there is an idiot switch if you don’t want to spend the time. YouTube has helpful setup videos, but I found that most of the recommended settings are generic and just starting points. To sum up: The X-t50 is really not for beginners. The camera body + 23mm lens with tax was like $2000 new. Add $200 more for accessories like 2nd battery, charger etc. and for a lot of people it isn’t an option. However, for a pro backup camera, or maybe for a former pro like me, it’s a dream camera that i’ll never outgrow.

    Fantastic Pocketable Fuji Camera
Pros: It’s almost the same good as Fujifilm XT-5, especially good for landscape lovers. It’s almost the smallest pocketable DSLR-like camera; It has almost all the advanced features of the higher level mirrorless cameras, even it belongs to entry-level;It’s stylish and very solid. It has a built-in flash, a big plus for travelers! It costs much less than XT-5.Cons: The location of the SD card is too narrow, it’s very hard to take out or insert the SD card. It’s not weather-sealed, so be careful in the raining days.

Awesome camera. Useful Tip: The screensavers for the Fuji x-T30 II work on this camera also.
I bought iDaPro screensavers for my Fuji T-30 II and installed one. I watched the video and was careful in placing it exactly where it should go on the screen. I was especially careful not to get any part of my fingers on the side that fixes to the LCD screen. Worked fine.Today I got my Fuji X-T50 and searched for screensavers to find none on Amazon that specifically called out compatibility. But, since I had two left, I used one of these iDaPro’s on the T50 and it fit! I just think manufactures have not gotten to change their Amazon descriptions concerning compatibilities to include the T50 in them. This might save you much time searching for the right screensaver for your T50.This is my forth Fuji X camera and the more I use them the better I like what they can do. I started with the X100F and now have the X-T5, T30 II and now the new X-T50. They have so much customization. BUT, if you’re just starting out just set it on Auto and shoot away. Later you can get in to the menus and customizations to enjoy these cameras even more.

Excelente compra.

Right out of the gate, let me say that this is truly a fantastic camera. I am blown away how nice it is, especially considering this is just an upgrade for me from the X-T30.There is a whole lot to like here, from the IBIS to the new film simulation dial, higher MP sensor and higher resolution video are just to name the highlights. But I’d also like to focus on the usability of holding this camera a bit.Right away this feels good in the hands. With my X-T30 I always felt it was just too small to hold onto. Here, they added a bigger grip which makes a significant difference in my enjoyment when holding it. Couple that with the familiar setup that we’ve come to know on the TX0 line (and X-T line in general), I felt comfortable hitting the ground running with this.I was a bit concerned that this wouldn’t feel like a big upgrade over the X-T30, but wow – it really does! I use all the new features, and that extra MP really help get the “WOW” factor in cropping my images.I’m so impressed here – there is just so much to like!
