Easy to assemble
I love the stand. It was easy to assemble. However, the shelves are smaller than it seems in the picture. It holds several plants but they must be small. It is an eye catcher in the room and I have gotten many compliments. It is pretty though, and everyone has complimented it!

Nice Stand But Not for Bigger Plants
I have a window where I like to put my plants since it gets a lot sun. I have a mod-podge of different plant stands/holders in front of the window and I wanted something that looks and fits better in front of the window. I got this stand to take the place of all my plant stands/holders to unify them.It was fairly easy to put together and the directions were clear. All the wood and metal pieces are marked with letters on stickers so it was easy to find each piece and follow along with the directions. It was a bit of a hassle to peel off the letter stickers so they don’t show on the stand. It took me a little over an hour to assemble it by myself-there are a lot of screws for this plant stand, for example, the bottom two parts require 24 screws total and each shelf requires 4 screws, so that’s 20 more for the shelves. The shelves lined up with the screw holes except for one hole, so I have one shelf without one screw in it. The directions also showed to zip tie part of the metal legs together at the bottom. I’m not sure what the point of that is so I left off the zip tie. It comes with a hex wrench and allen wrench so you don’t need any extra tools to put this together.I did not install the grow lights because I have the stand in front of a western facing window that gets a lot of light but I might use the lights later Even with the lights installed, I can’t see how the very lowest shelves would be beneficial to put plants on because they are blocked from light from above by a shelf. I put my plant sprayer and other plant related items on the bottom shelf. The grow lights attach with included double sided sticky tape so I was a little disappointed with that because I worry that if I take them off and try to take off the stick tape, it might not come off or ruin the finish on the shelves. The grow lights can be attached with small screws to the shelves but the screws are not included and I would have to drill holes in the shelves.I also have some bigger plants and while they fit on the shelves, I wasn’t able to hang anything from the hook because my big plant’s leaves are spread out and take up the space that a hanging pot would use. I could hang something from the hook but only if it hung about 5-6 inches down, so I have no room to hang a plant from the hook.Overall it seems sturdy and it is not too heavy to lift up and move (without the plants on it) if I want to move it someplace else. I’m a little disappointed that I can’t hang a plant from the little hook. I think the picture shows smaller plants than what I have. I do like that it unifies all my plants together and it fits in a compact space and I can use the grow lights if I want. I think it is a little pricey for what you get.
