Two years in the camper and still working.
Purchased this TV just over 2 years ago and 260 nights traveling. Perfect size for our campervan. It is suitable for the bouncing of the camper and uses a 12V plug. Built in DV player is nice when we are without cell service for our hotspot. Picture is good.

Very nice TV, but lacking customer service
The overall TV is really nice for the money spent. However, in this instance, the DVD player was not functioning properly, so I had to return it and request a replacement. Just a note as to the product support from Sylvox–it’s horrible. You will not be able to speak to a technical assistant; you will initially speak with an employee who will take down your order information and then supposedly pass it on to the tech dept. Expecting a call from the tech dept–not, four days later all you get is an email suggesting a fix for the problem. And if that doesn’t work, you have to go through the whole process again of contacting them by phone. There is no way to reply to the tech email. If I didn’t like their overall product so much, I would have nothing to do with this manufacturer again. So, buyer beware.

Stay away from this brand
Got this tv for our camper. Came in good time. Made sure it worked then put it in the camper. Little over a month later ( which is past Amazon’s return time ) we took the camper out for memorial day and after a couple days it quit. Won’t turn on. Got a hold of the company and sent them everything they asked for and have not heard back. Pretty sure I just got screwed. As of now I would not touch anything from this company and probably won’t buy another one on Amazon now either.

Picture is good. Sound is not.
The picture is great! The size of the TV is great. It’s on a pedestal like I wanted. It came with a CD player which I have not tried out yet. The drawback is the sound. The speaker makes it sound like your in a tunnel or a tin can. Had to buy a separate speaker to attach to get decent sound.

Updated: I primarily use the audio out wired into the input switcher in my motorrhome. I also have added unbalanced to balanced converters to all my audio connections. With these adapters the hum that was getting into my audio has been eliminated. The TV has functioned okeydoke mostly using for HDMI connection to Google tv devices. Dvd player is ok for regular non blueray like most I dustry systems. Bought to replace an old 22″ Jensen in my 2014 Winnebago Trend. Sadly only one HDMI but I knew that going in. Usually the system we used had the tv speakers turned off so the audio l&r out went into the main radio aux inputs for much better sound. The menus are very similar software wise but there isn’t anywhere you can disable the TV’s physical speakers. It required the placement of a 12v jack for a cigarette adapter for power instead of the old Jensen style DC cord. Hopefully it works for several years. Used the existing mount and fit inside the original tv space.

Not at all Happy (Up Date)
I purchased this 5/1/2024 Aug 2024 the DVD player no longer works. The TV worked fine up till now but the volume is way to low to hear in our small travel trailer. I’ve tried several ways to hook it up to our soundbar without success.After a couple of emails with pictures showing them the DVD read errors I got in touch with “Maggie” a service rep who shipped me a replacement TV, honoring there one year warranty. I increased my rating to 4 stars, the sound is a bit weak when running appliances in our RV.

This is a 22″ TV, with special features for things like installing into your RV or boat. You don’t have to do that, as it comes with a power brick to hook it up to a standard outlet, but I wouldn’t waste a TV like this for using it at home. It has Google TV pre-installed. Personally, I really like Google TV as an OS, but it tends to be slow on slower hardware. I don’t know if it’s the wifi antenna, but set up was very slow. Updating my Chromecast with Google TV was way faster. Once it’s all updated, it works well. But still a bit of lag. Might not be an issue though depending where you’re using this. If in a car or boat, you likely won’t have wifi. The built-in DVD player works great. The remote is quite bulky, but I assume that’s also for moisture protection. The screws on the back of the remote are bad though. 2 of 4 were already stripped, and it was a paint to remove. The TV colours are fine. You’re not here for the best quality, but darks were pretty roughs. The speakers are probably the lowest point. These are downward firing speakers, and it’s worse than listening to much off my phone’s speakers. But it does get very loud. Good for outdoor settings. I hooked this up to my car as well, and plugging into the 12V port worked great. Wish the wire was long though, so we could run the cable from the front seat to the trunk of the SUV to set up movie nights back there. Currently on sale for $469 minus a $50 coupon. It’s a decent price for a specialty TV, if you really have that need.
