Don’t sleep on this camera
Have this camera to a 17 year old girl and she loves it. Not gonna lie she kinda turned her nose up at it because it looks kinda rugged but that’s because it is. First day she had it she dropped it. Picked it up and it kept taking “good pics”. It’s been to 5 graduations now and a few other teen group outings. She loves that she can load pictures directly to her phone so she can post them or pop out the memory card and load them that way. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a decent time frame. It’s waterproof, and easy to use. The zoom feature is also good. It even takes pictures underwater. How cool is that! It brings her a lot of joy and that makes it worth every penny.

Broke very quickly.
Disappointing. It broke very quickly, but outside the 30-day return window, of course. So now I’m stuck with this stupid broken thing. I wish it had worked. I was in Hawaii and I missed out on any underwater pics.

KODAK waterproof camera.
Have not used it yet, did not come with an SD card, kind of important, wouldn’t you think?

Don’t judge it without getting to know it.
I’m actually kinda bummed out that people give up on this camera so easily. Like some cameras you need to mess around with all the buttons and settings before you start using it. I get some people don’t like doing that but I can make it a little easier. To focus the camera you have to try to touch the button with half the amount of pressure. And you do have to shut the flash setting off if you hate flash. There are some settings I still need to look for and see if I can shut off but if you have dyslexia like I do and need quick resolutions you can find quick answers on google to modify the settings of the camera. It’s super cool by the way, and in my opinion worth the money.

Extremely casual camera
This camera feels flimsy, battery life is poor, and the zoom is pretty poor considering how far the lens sticks out from the camera body. The micro sd card is very hard to remove. This compact camera has most of the downsides of a DSLR in terms of size, but without any of the performance. If you’re looking for a replacement for a cannon or sony point and shoot – keep looking. I know this is tempting since those are so hard to find, but this isn’t it. This is a very casual camera; maybe it has a use going with a family on a beach vacation – but as an every day work camera, this does not cut it.

I researched about many water proof cameras before I purchased it. I tested the camera in the swimming pool and this camera does take videos & photos better than we expected. Very happy, thank you very much!
