Amazing low cost HP LaserJet with full connectivity
Replacing my reliable nearly 20 year old black & white HP Laserjet with this low cost beauty. My old usb printer still works perfectly, but I finally upgraded to get jet direct & wireless connectivity. All of this amazing technology for a very low price! It was extremely easy to setup and I was printing from my iPads and iPhone in just a few minutes. I’ve setup probably 100 HP printers in my decades of work, and never had a serious issue with HP. For me there is no other printer I would ever consider. I fully expect this one to last me another 20 years…. Very happy.

Really excellent and inexpensive laser jet printer loaded with features for home office
This is a great printer. Works very well. Some effort is required to make work from a mobile device as the instructions are not very clear. But once you have that set up, it works perfectly. All in all, I recommend this. It’s also quite inexpensive for all the great features it provides for a home office. Unless you need a color printer it’s best to get B&W unit. The laser jet cartridges last a long time and you can get inexpensive third party ones from Amazon.

PRINTER HAS ONE PRINTER ERROR AFTER ANOTHER! BEWARE!
I have been buying HP Printers for over 30 years. I currently own an HP 4650, 1215, 4050, 4500 2420 and a couple others. They have all worked very well for me. However, this HP6458E is a piece of shit. Its hell when it is well, but it is sick all the time. It is one problem after another. I should have known that it was too cheap to be real. I guess you get what you pay for. But this is a worrisome printer. It goes offline without provocation, the paper tray was stuck, got it unstuck and now it won’t print saying paper tray or paper jam. Neither is the case. This printer was a renewed printer., I can see why. Someone bought this printer and returned it because it was defective. I thought I was getting a bargain. It is more problematic that it is worth. I bought this to replace my HP4650 which I have had for many years because the paper tray broke. I purchased another tray, but do not know how to install it. I guess it will have to take it to Microcenter and have it installed. In the meantime, I bought this piece of shit and it has been a nightmare. And, I do not print much. I have an instant ink subscription of 100 pages per month and never print that many. They just roll over. I do not know what the problem is with this printer. It would truly be a nightmare if I printed on a regular basis. I have a HP laser printer for my main print jobs and only use this printer for color pages.DO NOT BUY! SAD NEWS! HP NEVER AGAIN!

    Great printer. #1: GET APP
No issues after 2 months. You HAVE TO get the app to set this up. No way around it. Once you get the app on your phone, you can invite other devices. No issues about starting a print job after not using for a week – it just works. No noise issues (you know it’s printing) but my house is not a quiet one and I’ve been around a lot of different printers and this is pretty average for noise level. Crisp, clear pages. Overall, very happy with my printer.

2 months of free Instant ink unfulfilled. After spending hours to get printer to work.
Printer works fine it connects. i had trouble connecting it to my wi-Fi it connected once and this system recognized it but it would not print. So I had to Keep Trying Until a message Came through And actually printed off the printer that I needed to Connect To the Wi-Fi Direct System Through Hp service plugin, A different app From their smart app And your printer instant ink. Was just very happy that the printer was now working but it was not officially enrolled in the ink program to get my free ink I persistently tried to explain to hp support once I got through the phone line andthey Wanted me to uninstall And reinstall on the smart appIn order to enroll For the free ink. And I Refused Because itwasn’t broken Printer was working And I am In the middle of a large project I’m not going to waste any more time Tryingto Fix something that wasn’t broken. It was their system that told me They couldn’t connect to the smart app and touse The plug-in app. Exceedingly disappointed With the Response from HP And the stubbornness, it was their prompts That told me how to get the printer working And I was promised the 2 months of free ink. HP is not fulfilling theirpromise Customer service is just terrible To treat a customer like this. It’s not the seller The printer finally Works througha different Program But HP Insistent On undoing everything I spent hours to Make work And that was not going tohappen For a couple of dollars worth of ink. Plus I had registered the printer first and if they wanted to they could enroll the printer for me. Very poor support. Why break it if it’s working.

    The Down Sides
I am not in love with this printer. I wish laser printer prices were not effected by inflation, but they are and so I am going back to an ink jet. Sigh.1. The e in the name means that it does not have a very user friendly control panel on the printer. The app on your phone is a better control panel. The panel on the printer very basic and is not self explanatory. I had to pull up an online user manual and print out a few pages that explained the buttons and error codes.2. If you have a document that has a blank page as the last page, the printer will misalign and print only half the page. You have to custom pick out the pages that have text on them to get the page to print properly. EX: A document has 3 pages, but the text is only on page 1 and 2. Choose: print pages and type 1-2. Hit Print.3. If you use the ink subscription, don’t expect to be able to refill those cartridges yourself. The printer communicates with the ink subscription company. If you cancel the ink subscription, they will communicate with your printer via wifi and stop the cartridge from working with your printer.4. Set up took Foooooooooor Eeeeeeeeever. Think: The Sandlot5. I’m not sure I’m ready to pack it up and send it back, but the thought has crossed my mind.

Es una buena impresora, imprime en duplex de manera automática, pero paro no es útil para México, sus cartuchos sólo se comercializan en EUA, Australia y Nueva Zelanda, por lo que es muy caro y complicado reponer el toner

  10. Gerardo R. Velez Garcia

buena hasta ahorita no me ha fallado

  11. Alfredo A.

Muy bueno y rápido y genial

  12. Paulina R.

No consigo toner para la impresora
