Good for a extra Back Up data saver
It’s good to have this external memory saver, but you will still need the original Xbox series S memory card yes the very expensive one due to that some of the video games video from consoles to PC to put in your phone, memory videos, and photos all the above on this item, so still best for you to get the memory card I know it’s very expensive that’s why I purchased this but you could keep it, but you still will need that expensive memory card, but two thumbs up.

Everything seems good so far.
Recieved in a few days. Packaging was beat up, but the item looked fine. I did try out the item on my Android phone and laptop. I was easily able to transfer photos and videos from my phone to the external hard drive. I plan to use this for Drone footage. It should hold alot of photos and videos. Size is very compact and light. Outside shell seems durable. My only concern is the included cable where it connects to the hard drive. I have a gut feeling that area may fail, and I may lose my files at some point. I may find another similar cable as back up, just in case, and find a hard wired unit. I just do not trust it.

So, I should have probably read more into this but I have an Xbox S and the storage is very minimal as you all know so I needed more space. I wanted to save money by getting something cheaper than the little 1TB insert for my Xbox S that costs $150 , so I read a few reviews online and I chose this hard drive. What I didn’t know until I got the thing home and plugged in was that it takes a long time to transfer games back and forth from the device to the Xbox and vice versa. I also cannot play my downloaded games from the device, I have to make room on the Xbox, transfer them back and then I could play.This was all too much a hassle for me so I needed to return the item and I decided to pay more for the 1TB insert that does allow me to play my games from, it also goes into the Xbox so no external anything and the transfer of games is super super fast.The seller for this item was very helpful from the start when they learned I wanted to return the item. I didn’t have the box it had come in anymore but it wasn’t needed and as long as I had all the parts and in perfect condition and that the drive was cleared of everything meaning bsck to factory setting, then I was allowed to return it. I did a manual return to one of the Amazon drop offs. The seller stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process and it was nice to know that they were willing to help me even though I didn’t need thuer product. Most sellers just get your money and then they want nothing to do with you this seller cared about thier product and reputation and that was in turn helpful for me.
