Customers say
Customers find the coax cable well-made with heavy-duty outdoor sheathing and appreciate its functionality, with one mentioning it works well as a patch cord between ham equipment. The cable receives positive feedback for its value, heat shrink protection, ease of installation, and appearance, with one customer noting it’s particularly suitable for SWR meter use. The length receives mixed reviews, with some finding it just right while others say it’s significantly undersized. The connector quality also gets mixed feedback.

Good quality cable.
Purchased this for portable amateur radio operations. Looks to be high quality and works great!

Exactly what I ordered plus an inch!
Everything about this USA made jumper was exactly what I wanted. Even better, the full length was 19 inches instead of 18.The ends are securely crimped to the coax sheath and covered in heat shrink tubing. The solder on the center pin was well done on both ends, neither globby nor hollow.I received it just as scheduled, maybe even a day early. And the price was better than my own time would have cost.I’m very satisfied.

Quality connectors and flexible coax
This is an impressive combination of flexible coax and good quality connectors. All the work has been done for us. I’m getting great results on 10-160m feeding my dipole with this coax. Mine is laying on the ground and is hoisted into the tree so we’ll see how the years of harsh Midwest weathers affect the performance. For now, I couldn’t be happier!Update: After two years in use, I’ve had no problems. I took down my antenna last fall for a checkup and all connectors are clean and tight as a drum. The coax lying on the ground during this past few years is not showing any signs of wear or degradation. Okay, I’m impressed.

Great cable for the money, would make an excellent portable hardline
I’m using this as my permanent hardline from my vertical to my window pass through for HF. It’s solid, and it’s holding up very well. I’ve made multiple contacts on it in excess of 4000 miles with excellent signal reports. I buried part of it using a conduit run and have had no issues with moisture. I’d buy it again if I need another long run. I didn’t see any great losses on it and I’m getting a 1.04:1 on 40m barefoot. I wasn’t getting that good on the previous run of RG-58 I changed from.

Pretty good cable
One of the connectors had to much solder to insert into radio. Had to remove the extra. Other than that, it’s a really nice cable. Getting less than 1:2 SWR using it

Easier to use than regular RF mini 8 coax.
I bought this coax because my RF mini 8 coax suffered a kink and was internally shorted because It was wound to tight around a sharp bend. This coax is much more flexible and slightly smaller in diameter, so it is much easier to install than regular RF mini 8. There are claims that RF 8x outperforms RF mini 8 in signal loss and noise reduction. I’m not sure about all that but it does outperform RF mini 8 in ease of installation and it works great for my setup.

Good quality well made cable
Good quality well made cable. PL-259s are properly soldered and sealed with heat shrink tubing. Cable passes all frequency sweep tests as well as Rigexpert AA-230 and Array Solutions AIM-2300 tests. Cable is a bit on the pricey side but after purchasing other cheaper cables and testing, I’m sticking with these. Short version – they just work.

Overall good quality
I ordered the 10ft cable and overall it’s good quality. Based on other reviews that were negative, I checked SWR readings. The SWR to a dummy load was fine, no issues there. I measured my SWR before and after I connected it to my mobile antenna and there was no issues there either. I gave the cable the magnet test and it passed that as well. The soldering was fine looking and the connectors were ok too. Not sure why people were complaining about the connectors. The question always is, would I buy it again? The answer is yes.

Amazon tells me my product may be lost, but, hey. One end is attached to my antenna and the other end to my radio. Easy to find…
