Solid. Would recommend.
This was for a replacement on a gate. The box is very well built and this design has been around awhile and is solid. I would trust this to weather the elements. And it can be programmed to work well with fire access boxes and most gates.A oddity I ran into is that there are two gate open relays, with different ports on the connection block. the documentation was confusing. There is a regular relay and a solid state relay. The guide says that both can be programmed as momentary. I could never get the main one to work correctly with the gate. It would re-trigger the gate to close no matter what. But when I switched over to the solid state relay, the momentary trigger worked as I had programmed it. Not sure if the gate had issues or this controller.

Worked perfectly. Replaced the same model that was ~10+ years old.
Works exactly as expected.Had another unit (exact same model and design) that was several years old. No parts available it seemed, so replaced the entire unit. New unit seems exactly the same.Hopefully it will last a long time.

It arrived on time and it was what I ordered.
The install is quite simple. We have this product at 2 locations. The longest they worked was about 3 years but it wasn’t product failure but being hit, run over, or in this replacement need someone supper glued the key pad. For the time of operation that I’ve experienced they have worked as advertised. I would just like to see how long they do last without being damaged. Great product. John

Keypad loosely sits on box and shakes while pressing key
These are expensive, and lives upto the expectation when taken out of the box. Shiny heavy keys that feel nice to press. Finish is also pleasing with the all metal construction. But that aura lasts only until installation. The keypad is held onto the box on a single point: the lock. This makes the keypad shake whenever it’s pressed. It’s not possible for a single lock to have it tightly secured. The lock itself needs a little bit of space so that it can move for unlocking. This just turns the whole experience into a disappointment. Especially because this is what guests will FIRST experience while coming to my home.I thought our gate technician had installed it wrong. So I opened and cross checked. He mentioned afterwards that these keypads are known to have that shake, unless installed directly on a wall.

Old Technology but works great
This keypad replaced one that was 15 years old. The model number was different, but it was a like for like replacement.
