Great vertically mounted portable screen.
Since I’m on the go more often these days, I need a portable screen just to make multi-tasking a bit better. Found this portable monitor and decided to give it a try. The packaging for this portable monitor is excellent with plenty of padding outside and inside the box. Not that this matters, but I can smell the new electronic/packaging smell like you would get from expensive brands like Apple and Samsung. The monitor also comes with all the cables you need and as well as 2 magnetic stands – 1 simple leg design and another more sophisticated which was mainly to stack on top of the laptop.The built quality is excellent – nothing feels cheap about the monitor or the accessories including the cables and stands. The monitor has matte screen and good brightness, which reduce glare when sitting at a fully-lit coffee shop. Viewing angle is also great granted that I always angle it towards me (no reason to not do so). The monitor has 2 USB-C ports, both of which support either display out and charging, so you can charge your laptop with 1 port (assuming your laptop supports USB-C charging) and use the other port for portable display. There’s also a mini-HDMI port and OSD control. I find the settings to be very usable for my case so I didn’t need to change anything. I don’t really see much of a use case here since it’s supposed to be a on-the-go monitor, but I tested having 3 different sources plugged into the monitor and they all work as expected; though you need to switch to each source via OSD joystick. The speaker also has built-in speakers and they work fine, but I have no use for it. Lastly, the bigger magnetic mount allows me set the screen on top of my laptop, making it more less painful to always look down at the laptop screen.Now that all the good things out of the way, there are a few caveats for me personally and most of which has to do with the ports/control space constrains. The mini HDMI port should have been a full size HDMI. I understand the space constrain but almost everyone has HDMI cable at home and not so much mini HDMI. The OSD joystick feels a bit finicky which makes harder to navigate the OSD menu than dedicated buttons. Given the price, the resolution should be higher 1440p instead of 1080p, but I think vertical magnetic mount does make up for it especially since I use it so often.Overall, I would recommend this product especially if you like having a portal monitor at eye level.

makes life easier without taking up a ton of space
I picked up this laptop screen extender for myself since I’ve been working on the go a lot more lately. It clips onto the back of my laptop and gives me a second screen without needing a bunch of cables or settings. The screen is super thin and light, so it doesn’t make my setup bulky, which is a big plus when traveling.The picture quality is solid, sharp and clear, definitely better than I expected for something this portable. I like that it rotates all the way around, so I can flip it around to show someone else without moving my laptop. Setup was super easy, just plug it in and it works right away, no extra software needed.Only a couple small issues: the detachable stand is useful but feels a little flimsy. If you’re not on a flat surface, it might slip a bit. Also, the clamp for attaching it to the laptop feels snug, but I wouldn’t yank it around too much just in case. It’s good for travel, but I still try to be careful with it.Overall, it’s been a great buy for getting more done when I’m away from my desk. It makes multitasking way easier, especially for emails, docs, and Zoom calls. If you work remotely or travel a lot, this thing definitely makes life easier without taking up a ton of space.

Used this screen every week for a good week plus. So glad I decided to try it. Setup was super easy, just plug it in and you are good to go. I can rotate and position it multiple ways. I personally prefer a single stand so the screen sits flat on my desk aligned with my laptop. The screen quality is really solid too and you can adjust the brightness if needed.It has built-in speakers, but I usually stick with my laptop for sound. I love that it lets me move around the house and still have my two-screen setup wherever I go.I like photography and now I can watch how-to videos on one screen and at the same time practice on my other screen.Multi screen set up is nothing new, but portability is the winner here. This one is a keeper!

Coffee shop buddy
To be straight to the point. I will not go to a coffee shop to work without this monitor going forward. it is that good. There are 2 ways to use this, either as a side car(on the left or the right of the monitor(which is meh, every other portable monitor out there can do this) or use this as a top monitor. In this mode, it is incredibly compact and a creative and productive workspace can be had for a very small counter space. The display is bright, colorful and the aspect ratio of 16:10 is especially useful for office work. I wish that they can be daisy chained in the next upgrade since my laptop only has 2 usb c ports. I will look out for that new model also!

My Productivity Savior
After months of hunching over my laptop screen, I finally caved and bought this laptop screen extender. My best decision ever! The resolution is crisp enough for my spreadsheet marathons, and the colors pop when I’m binging Netflix during lunch breaks. What really sold me though was how easy it is to set up; I just slapped it onto the magnetic stand, plugged in the cable, and boom! instant dual-screen setup!There’s a small hiccup with my older laptop where the screen occasionally flickers unless I connect external power, but that’s more my laptop’s fault than the monitor’s. I’ve taken this thing to coffee shops, co-working spaces, and even on a flight (yes, I’m that person), and at just 1.5 pounds, it barely adds any weight to my bag. My coworkers keep asking about my “fancy setup” during video calls, and I’ve already convinced two of them to get one.
