Nice product! Looks great with the blue dancing lights on top matching my blue lit speakers as well as all of the other lit up components around my computer. I have a desktop PC and not a laptop therefore I had trouble connecting it correctly because the built in power cord was to short to reach the USB 3.0 port in back of my computer. I tried using the long cord that came with the drive but my PC would not recognize the driver. I contacted Roofull customer service and they were amazing trying to help me troubleshoot and solve the problem. Without questioning they sent me a new player immediately and it arrived within 2 days. This particular model is also sold by other companies but what I like about Roofull is that the name is not printed in bright white on the black device, it’s subtle in a gray print on the face of the disk drawer and hardly noticeable which I like. Word of advice for PC users. If you need a longer cable for 3.0 connections get a short or longer Male to Female USB 3.0 extension cord, therefore you can place the player where it works best for your set up! Overall, I am very happy with the product and especially the amazing Roofull customer service! One more thing. The player came with what looked like an SD card but what do I know LOL It’s an SD card adapter so you can put smaller SD cards into it and I think it should be mentioned in the user manual. Btw, they also gave me a 2 year warranty on the product!

Great little device and at good price.
I don’t normally write reviews, but felt like I had to for this. It did exactly what it said it would and did it first time I tried to use it. Just plugged it in and it worked. I cannot stress how great it was to find a product that does that. That just does what it’s supposed to. Keep in mind you do have to do a little work yourself in that you need to have the secondary programs to read the media already on your computer (iTunes, Media Player, etc), but as long as you have that, you’re good to go. It does also have some nice secondary features: the padded storage case with the additional pocket for storage, the additional power cable, and the notch to tuck the primary cable into so it’s out of the way while the product is being stored. Great little device and at good price. Very happy.

I am enjoying this external CD/DVD. This product is very easy to connect to my laptop. The view is clean and clear. Also I was very satisfied with the price. The fact that it came with a beautiful storage case that allows me to store it when not in use, or when I travel with it. Also, I experienced great customer service from the seller, as they reached out to me after I received product to insure it was operating and that I was satisfied. I really appreciated how they followed-up and responded to my inquiries without hesitation and was able to resolve my issue expeditiously and left an open invitation for me to reach out at any time. Great Design for “Classic” Media
Long ago, I backed up my CD and DVD collection to my computer. Over the years, the original discs have become the backups as I consume my purchased media more often on my digital devices. However, I still have the originals and also haunt used media stores looking for things not available online. I recently purchased this external disc drive to go with a new laptop. I expected to be able to only get a second-rate product for this old medium. I was pleasantly surprised as this drive was better designed than any I had during the peak of disc dominance. It is well made and looks great. The versatile type A and C USB cable is integrated with the device and stores in a sunken track on the bottom of the drive. It even comes with a free carrying case–perfect for my laptop case. Highly recommended!

Great External Portable CD Player
I purchased this item so that I could install a favorite program that I have on a CD because my new laptop does not have a CD player. This Rooful item came complete with a list of instructions which were easy to understand. They also reached out to me via Amazon asking if I needed any additional help which I found to be a very thoughtful procedure. Basically this was simply to use, plug and play. It is also small and compact. It was effortless and worked seamlessly. I would definitely recommend.

Top-notch DVD/CD Drive and Top-notched Seller
I purchased this because the one that I had isn’t compatible with my laptop. I have a Lenovo Legion and the DVD/CD drive I had is a Dell. I wanted to rip some of my CDs to put on a thumb drive and I really like this one. It is so much better than my Dell. It is truly a plug-and-play. It plays so smoothly and it’s very sturdy. And it comes with a case which is padded. I like that it has Windows Media Player built-in, which is what I’ve always used in the past. But I am extremely impressed with the seller. He emailed me the user manual. Not because I asked. He just did it. This is a top-notch seller and I highly recommend the DVD/CD drive and the seller!!

This Portable USB CD/DVD writer is an 11 out of 10!
I rarely write product reviews, but thought this was worthy of my time. This may be just a simple portable USB CD/DVD writer, it is top notch! It comes with a USB-A/USB-C combo cable all ready and neatly tucked away underneath the device for easy connection to you computer. I also appreciated the high quality foam-lined case that comes with it for free. This case is nylon with zippers for the device opening, but also a bonus side pouch with a nice zipper too. Pulling out the device a plugging it into my Windows 11 laptop by way of the USB-C connector was a breeze and once connected, Windows recognized it immediately and I was off to the races… Nicely done by a company with name that seems at first, odd… and maybe that’s why I can remember it, because it took a moment to figure out how to say it… Not sure of the names meaning of Roo-Full, but maybe there is lots of kangaroos living around where it comes from… but it never did make me feel a little jumpy.. (ok, I’ll stop)

This CD/DVD seems well made. I’ve only used it to read a few CD’s, but it worked well. Perhaps a bit more noise than I was expecting but not much different than the CD/DVD player I had in my last ASUS laptop. If I experience any undue issues, I’ll respond at that time.

i just bought this product and it is really so good and easy to use , easy portable as well as coming with nice good looking bag which can help me to carry along when travel .the best thing that i like that does not need any driver to play .. so i can use all my DVDs with no problem to worry .
