    Perfectly adequate bargain solution
This is my first prepaid phone, bought for a trip where I didn’t want to risk my high-price phone. I’m pleasantly surprised. Activation was smooth and the phone works very nicely for calling, email, web, photos, music, basic games — everything a smartphone is supposed to do. The web info could have been a little clearer. I separately bought a SIM card kit and a scratch card for minutes. Neither was required. The phone came with a SIM built in and I could have bought the minutes online on the Tracfone app. We have good Verizon coverage here, so no complaints. On the trip, we’ll see.

Works Without Activating (On Just Wifi)
I use this phone only on wifi. I didn’t have to activate it to use it, which I’m extremely happy about. I would’ve returned it otherwise, and since amazon doesn’t let us ask questions anymore (seriously? why?), I had to rely on “rufus” (ugh) to hope that it’ll work on only wifi. This phone works really well. My current main phone has 16 RAM for mobile gaming, but it’s like 10 years old, so it’s slow. I got a second phone for more gaming (yup, I really went there) just for home, and this is perfect. It probably won’t run Infinity Nikki or other super high end games, but other games are fine. It seems as good as my current outdated phone now, so I’m happy.

Not Bad, but A Bit Laggy
I am writing this as someone who doesn’t own a cellphone in the usual sense. I owned the HP iPAQ long before “smart phones” where ever though of. Basically, that was a smartphone without the phone. To this day, that is the ONLY reason I own a cellphone – as a pocket computer. I do not activate them, nor do I use them as a phone, so I cannot comment on those aspects. I also disable/uninstall every single google/tracking app/”feature” so I cannot comment on those. I CAN discuss this as a computer, though. As a pocket computer, this is fine. It’s not great, but that is only because it comes SO loaded with tracking and google-tied services, some of which cannot be disabled. The battery life seems pretty good. The screen is nice and large. I’d prefer it if it were a LITTLE bit wider, but… The camera is much better quality than my old phone. One thing I DO notice, though, is that there seems to be a lag, especially when processing animations. For instance, playing solitaire, there is a slight lag in clicking the deck and the cards turning over. The final animation, where the cards fly around after you win, glitches and lags a bit, there, too. I don’t know if my disabling half the phone has anything to do with that, but I wouldn’t think so. Speaking of solitaire… the narrow screen aspect makes that pretty hard to see. Unless you play a game that allows rotating the screen.. better put those peeper on!For the price, though, if all you want is a basic, get you by cellphone, especially of you just want to use it as a computer, you could do worse…

    Moto Phone
Was seeking a new Tracfone because the end of my cable broke off in my old Tracfone ………..got a better deal than I bargained for when I received this one in the mail via a deal on Amazon. Better than the other phone I had ordered 2 years ago when Tracfone did away with service to that phone. Exceptional pictures; (LOL) even found a “Rooster Crowing Wakeup alarm sound on it. Battery life is excellent!!! Charges in a very short time; battery life exceptional Picture quality is GREAT!!!

Is a phone when i need it to be a phone.
Great phone, does what I need, is fast enough. for the price, does every single thing I need of it, including being a phone first, when I need it to be a phone. Battery life is adequate, though I do not use it often for gaming, it can be used as such. The sound is suitable and able to portray voice, and music in enough clarity to understand and enjoy. Screen size is… About average for phones I have used. Have not owned a flagship phone for more than 7 years, and see no need to own one, as this has the same functionality as they do. Phone is as easy to unlock as any other phone I have owned, be it apple, Samsung, Kyocera and the likes. IF you want a cheap, but great phone, I would recommend.

Great phone at a terrific price
My $300 phone started acting up at 2 years old. Then the battery was not holding a decent charge so I went looking for a new phone. This is a great phone at a terrific price. So far it is a great phone and does all the expensive phone did.

    Good phone
I’ve had this phone for a month now and I like it a lot no contact just add minute’s and go. I should have gotten this phone a long time ago Verizon is the worst I will never go back to them ever again they make you pay for someone else phone bill that’s not your phone bill and that person hacked into my Verizon account and ordered themselves a phone and made me pay for it when it was not my phone. That’s why I have this phone now. Never again Verizon
